I use "Active" LKAS sometimes on the highway and it seems to drive close to the right side always.
Can anyone share their experience on LKAS?

Mine works really well and keeps it in the middle for the most part. It does drift to one side when a turn starts but corrects it quickly back to center and the same for coming out of a curve. Maybe you need yours adjusted?
my question is are you allowing the LKAS to keep you in or is it just something you observed?, also if it is off you can have them recalibrate it typically it should adjust at same distance to both sides

Is the road cambered to the right where you’re noticing this? I turned mine off after 2 days of ownership because the constant warnings annoyed the crap out of me in city driving. I’ve reactivated it a couple of times when highway driving out of curiosity and noticed that while it stayed mostly centred if the road was cambered much then the weight of the car would pull it in that direction.
this is why I chose the GT not 1 or 2 since I did not want any of the drive assist or sunroof, I deal with recalibrating these things on a daily basis so I get rather annoying how much they can geet in the way sometimes or just annoy youI don’t use it. Every time I try it tells me to pay attention and keep my hands on the wheel.......which I am ALREADY DOING!! Annoying as ****.
I do like the blind spot monitors, crash avoidance, auto headlights and wipers (mostly), just hate the lane keep assist. If it actually did ONLY that, instead of flashing warnings at me when my hands are still on the wheel and I’m still looking ahead, it would be ok. Sunroof is ok also. I have a premium and it is quiet as a mouse inside. No squeaks or rattles.this is why I chose the GT not 1 or 2 since I did not want any of the drive assist or sunroof, I deal with recalibrating these things on a daily basis so I get rather annoying how much they can geet in the way sometimes or just annoy you
thanks for sharing.
My dealership thinks it's normal for a vehicle driving with LKAS to stick to the right..and Kia corporate hasn't been much helpful in providing actual factI've been waiting for their response for about 2 months now.
Mine, in Australia, seems to stick to the left of the lane. Maybe it is a design consideration.
Not a big fan of it in the Stinger, unless mine is somehow messed up. The system yells at you after 15-20 seconds if it doesn't detect input, sometimes even with my hand on the wheel. I wouldn't mind if it would delay the tone warning, but it makes a warning chime at the same time as the message in the cluster which is stupid.
If I try lightly resting my hand on the wheel to prevent the nagging, the car drifts... badly. It basically stops trying to guide itself and follows my very minor input until I release pressure from the wheel. This basically makes the system useless. Trying to steer the car with the system active is annoying because it takes more effort. Resting my hand inside the wheel doesn't work because it causes the car to drift outside the lane. So far, my impression is that the system currently in these cars SUCKS compared to my wife's Telluride and my previous Tesla.
