Windshield defroster

Kia build this feature since 2003 in the cars with a bit higher trim.
The stripes in the stinger are so deep that they are not visible from inside.
Outside is not possible to see because of the black frame ...

Ok, so do you know for fact that Stinger (or at least highest trim of Stinger) should have it? How do I confirm that?
Because if that's the case, then I want to take it to dealership and fix that, since it's clearly not working on mine.

We have it in standard, America has it not for money...

Unfortunately Canadian owner's manual doesn't say anything about wiper defroster.

Is anyone else having issues defrosting windshield wipers?
Looks like wiper idle position is too low to be picked up by air blower from the inside, so they remain frozen solid even after running defroster for 10 minutes. See attached picture.
I know some Kia cars have a heated element down in the wiper bay, but mine is either non-functional or non-existent. The owner's manual doesn't mention anything about that, so Kia might have simply dropped the ball on this.

No problem here windscreen is always warm......

Today a Bit snow...
Take a picture of the front wipers 5 mins after the car start.
Under the wipers the snow is gone...
Had not so much time to wait for full defrosting.

@TomTom26 probably not very cold where you are. I had it running for good 20 minutes at -10C and nothing.

If it is not equipped it can not heat...
My Stinger is normal not outside over night so I don't look for it before.
Maybe when the winter starts I can take a look...
