Fog Lights / Daytime Running Lights

very unique

Look at this cover, a story about the secret agreements between the German car manufacturer, therefore: The Cartel. Those lights are pretty distinct, aren't they? LOL

Love it , but they play off a unique design element , it's one of the features I really like on the BMW's , the Angel Eye headlight , so unique , so proprietary , so ominous ..........................but original ...............Peter left some things on the table ...............mid life upgrade material I'm sure ( totally planned )

Saturday Night Fever

It's called "Christmas Lights" LOL. Consider how many x-mas trees could be saved.

On the other hand, people like lights. Think of ambient, now mood, lighting, The colors made available. Foot wells used to be just white light. Puddle lights, lights in door handles, lights in you sill scuff protectors, in you outside mirrors...there is no end to it. Almost forgot, light under the step boards. There's got to be more????
It's already lit up like a Christmas tree or as you call it, "Saturday Night".
A few more, here and there, don't matter anymore. Really. :)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I only do it for special occasions !
On a serious note , that Fog design could end up causing a whistle or some kind on unwanted sound at higher speeds , I would check that out .

Agreed, but as you've read, a small run of 10 or so is proposed for the Korean Stinger Club. Once those units are mounted and tried, it's my guess, that we will hear about their performance one way or the other.
I don't think our Korean friends will accept a whistling Stinger (has actually a good ring to it LOL), unless they are contemplating to chase a lot of wildlife off their roads.
And then it will take a while for these units to be offered here anyways.
Much more important to me at the moment is the console. BTW, had a look at the surface today, the aluminum has a finish applied to it, could be lacquer, polyurethane or something like that. It's by no means "raw".
I don't think we'll have to worry about wearability.
Made a return trip today to Georgian Bay and back, total 230 km, got 10.4 l/100 km on the way up on ECO and 10.3 on the way down running SMART. The total odometer is 468 km now.
Speeds mostly just above 100 km, with some spurts beyond 160 km, and a stretch on the 410 @ around 130 km. Not particularly flying, but not jogging speed either. No complaints :)

It does not affect the vehicle.
Just connect the wires
You have to remove the front bumper.

Will you add plastic diffusors over the LED diodes for light will be smoother like here?

It always looks cheap and rubbish when you can see every diode, so diffusor is the must imho, also protects diodes.

Agreed. The diffusers being used now look better and way more classy, less cheap, etc. when used as DRL's or tail lights. However, if you're going for useful projected light they defeat the purpose.

Yes, better. And I'm not talking here about to project the light, i.e. using as fog lights, no. TBH fog lights are useless thing imho or I'm too rarely being in fog %) Considering that thing above only as cool decoration.

I built my own custom projector fog lights on my truck, and they actually make a difference in fog or heavy snow, but OEM fogs are generally pretty useless. I agree that most of the time they are nothing more than decoration. The bright LED's that this started about are probably useful to an extent but too bright for oncoming traffic. It looks like it's basically a short vertical light bar, and those things are horrible in traffic for other drivers.

Yep, same feeling from the posted photos as well (and color is colder than factory DRL), diffuser should help with that as well.

That actually looks pretty good. I think the only improvement would be a better color match to the OEM lights.

The friend's review
Genuine headlights have DRL Pearl White ?? (About 5000k ??)
The fog light DRL is a little brighter. (6000K ??)
It is not a color that perfectly matches the headlight.
Fog lights are a little brighter in color.

I think those look great. Would you mind posting a picture close up to show how you installed them and do a short write up?
