imho full emblems look better. tho i've seen the skins look great.Which looks better? Let's disregard the ease of installation, I just wanna know which looks most OEM.
Thanks.
i've had a full emblem peel from the bottom to. shit happens.
Neither will look OEM. That’s the point, right?
by look oem he means high quality.Neither will look OEM. That’s the point, right?
The new version of the LODEN emblems have a slight curve to them:Clearly I meant of OEM quality or better. I've also read that replacement emblems are not curved and do not sit properly on the panel they're installed on. Does anyone have high resolution closeup pictures of their installs?
If there's any oval E "metal skin", stay away from it as it won't be metal - but an actual decal. Wait for these: OEM Style Oval Kia Stinger E Badge Hood/Hatch Emblem - Kia Stinger dot comI've been looking for the Oval "E" metal skins. Anyone know where I can get that? Thinking about changing my current LODEN Vintage K badges to the E badge but don't want to use the round one due to PPF cutout.
I'm trying to avoid removal/replacing the Front KIA emblem so I'm really looking for an overlay as opposed to a replacement piece. Again, my concerns are the cutout on my PPF plus fitment since all of these replacement emblems aren't curved and leave gaps on the ends. Any chance you can produce what I'm looking for Sal?If there's any oval E "metal skin", stay away from it as it won't be metal - but an actual decal. They'll be extremely heavy duty high quality and available in a week or two...
Well, a proper E overlay could be produced, but it would be very expensive. The minimum order is 1000 pieces, plus design and molding costs... And then 5 months waiting...I'm trying to avoid removal/replacing the Front KIA emblem so I'm really looking for an overlay as opposed to a replacement piece. I removed the OEM Kia emblem, and replaced it with the OEM Kia Motors badge from So. Korea. I also have PPF on the front (installed by the dealer pre-sale) and honestly I think it looks good. No gaps or peeling/pulling up issues. I have had it on there for almost a year now. In the pic you can clearly see the PPF, but the oval shape cut out of the PPF is not noticible at all from even a short distance.
I bought the badge from Sal: OEM Kia Motors Badge - Kia Stinger dot com

(I think the origins of the emblem are from OEM Eastern European KIAs, however)
