• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

What did you do to your Stinger in Australia today?

Next time you can get him in some budgie smugglers lol
It's a little bit cold for that, remember we are in Vic. Oh, he doesn't own any budgie smugglers

I bought a Stinger, can't afford a high pressure pump :( Poor car has been going to a car wash once every fortnight (touch free). I know long term it's false economy!

We bought a Karcher from Bunnings.

Which one? Just had a squiz on their website, around half a dozen or so on there. Might be able to wangle myself an earlier Dad's day present seeing my 11yo will be overseas for a month, in a bit under two weeks time

K2 will do job ok, about $99?

Ours was a bit pricey because we got the k5 but hubby wanted one to work around the house as well.

Spent the weekend giving mi lady a thorough detail.

Even though she is ceramic coated already wanted to try one of those new spray on sealants applied by foam cannon since fathers day is around the corner and decent discounts on the products.

I think it added a nice gloss to the paintwork but really hoping that when applied to the rims will help minimise the brake dust and make it easier to keep clean.

Must have been the weekend for it, I too gave mine a thorough detail, although my car has Protektiv Paint Protection, for the first time I applied Bowdens Fully Slick.....& all I can say is wow the finish this stuff gives is amazing & when finished the microfibre cloth just glides along the surface effortlessly, I even used it on the glass & the overall result is amazing, it’s the best it’s ever looked.
I cannot recommend Bowdens Fully Slick highly enough, it gives the best finish bang for your buck IMHO, I’m now a convert.

Now try boss gloss and it will blow your mind! Its slightly thicker than fully slick but shine is more lustrous.

Yeah was going to use Bowden's Own Happy Endings but only place that stocks it so far is Autobarn.
But noticed on the weekend my local Repco store has started to stock the full range so just have to wait for a special (cause who wants to pay RRP).
So just trying the equivalent Autoglym Polar Seal since it is on special and hopefully just have to foam cannon it on once a month for that silky smooth finish.

You can buy bowdens fully slick in bulk (5lts) from repco, get it cheap when sales on. Works out a couple dollars cheaper than a standard bottle.

Geez 5L is a fair bit to go through. How often do you reapply coats of Fully Slick? Like just after every wash?

At end of the days driving. Dont have to wash much that way.

Welcome @Alucard , to our stingerforum, Congrats on choosing Deep Chroma Blue, looks awesome, as if I'm looking at my own Stinger, it never gets old.

It's been fairly dry and dusty here so too much risky of getting micro scratches on the paint unless i did a proper wash first.

Thanks. Yeah I love the colour and always get comments on how it changes to different shades depending on the lighting.

@Alucard , I'm heading your way on Saturday until Tuesday, staying at The Ville. If you want to talk all things Stinger let me know. (Free drinks too...lol)
