Winter VS High Performance Winter Tire Reviews

According to Pirelli's website the tires come in both regular and run-flat types. I am getting the "Kia Stinger winter wheel and tire package" which comes with these tires -- I sure hope it's not the run-flat variant (I'm guessing it wouldn't be, because they are more expensive??)

Question: pros/cons of 19" vs 18" and staggered vs non staggered for winter wheels? It was getting late in the day when we discussed this at the dealership and they just wrote me down for the 19" staggered setup. But I'm hoping I won't regret it..
Pretty sure the winter package is 18" wheels non staggered

Not what they offered me... I’m calling parts to get specs. Wish they were more responsive to my calls though.
If you are going with the snow tires I think 18" on non staggered wheels makes sense and will cost much less , are you convinced this is the best way to go there vs UHPAS ? I would reaearch that and if it makes sense go for new tires ,keep your wheels and sell the factory rubber . You would have a staggered set up all year , with AWD and no major hills there you might be just fine ............

19" wheels will required lower profile tires. This will result in a "rougher" ride. But it may get you a bit more direct handling. 18" wheels give you more flexibility in tire size and type. It should give a more compliant ride depending on the tire. Staggered sizes mean less flexibility in tire rotation and ultimate life.

I definitely want dedicated summer and winter tires. Prefer staggered 19” summers and square 18” winters. Any special advice for this setup?

No arguing your strategy ! The stock summer tires are great , I just would not reco run flats for your winters .
