I am new to the forum and have scoured through posts about lease buyout and I’d like those of you who have done so for advice. Currently in My area Kia is offering $9900 rebates on a 24 month lease. I plan to purchase but could not get anywhere near that price. The car I’ve looked at is a GT2 AWD with an MSRP of $54,060. The salesman and I worked out a deal via text for $40,500 before fees and tax. I have the following questions.
1. Does anybody think I should push for a lower price and specific strategies that worked for you?
2. I have about $23,000 I was looking to put down. Should I put this amount down or put down as little as possible and proceed with the buyout as soon as possible and how they would work with putting down cash and financing part of the purchase
3. Realistically with the buyout and about $2600 in sales tax what should be my all in costs?
4. I know it sounds silly but the only thing I don’t like about the car is it has 18 inch wheels with all seasons. Can the car be reflashed to except the 19 inch wheel top speed? I think I may buy Genesis 5 spoke wheels as summer wheels/tires and keep the 18s for winter
