2019 GT2 AWD purchase help/tips

Decisions decisions, the good thing is I don’t need the car I have three registered vehicles in the household currently. I really don’t know what to do

My friend was able to get 5k off and lease incentive on gt2 AWD. The MSRP on that car was 55k (it came with remote start, puddle lights etc).

Only reason to do down payment is if your state taxes you twice on lease. There are many variations of double taxation.

If you don't need a car don't get it. What other cars do you have, may be replace one of those.

2017 Honda Pilot EX-L that’s the family car 2 kids and a dog and my wife’s daily driver

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited was the primary family vehicle until a family illness forced biweekly trips to Boston. It has over 245,000mi on it and is pretty much worthless now so I’ll drive it until it dies. I daily drive it now

2003 Mustang Cobra
My toy, I’ve owned it since 2005 460rwhp 485tq
I’ve put a whopping 33,000 mi on it

The Stinger will become my daily driver and completely replace the Jeep at some point. My only concern with holding out is I’m only interested in a red or blue GT2 awd and there aren’t many left

I have a predicament, a dealer about two hours away (out of state) offered me an AWD GT2 micro blue for $39,000 before tax and fees with summer wheels/tires but I would have to buy the car tomorrow and I am juggling two young kids at home and wife going in for surgery. I feel the local dealer could probably match the deal or hope for the best and wait for next month. I doubt the incentives will get worse but who knows

The incentives will get better the more you wait.

Drive the Jeep until it gives out. Once the 2020 cars hit dealers lots just wait till the end of the month and you will get it for a steal.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
@SVT2003 Not that history will repeat itself, but at the end of last year. The only colors I could find leftover in GT2 AWD were blue and red. I think they make the highest volume of those colors.

I think I’m getting a deal done today two year lease

MSRP $54,060
They are throwing in a remote start and cargo mat

$39,670 with all costs included except sales tax. I’m picking my wife from surgery and my son from daycare then finalizing the deal. What do you guys think!?!

Sounds good to me! As long as the car is perfect. No noises. No paint flaws. Etc. If it has anything less than ideal, I think you could get the price lowered still.

Do it and don't think about it again. Seriously

Kia did overestimate the popularity of Blue and Red last year. Red especially - it seems many more were produced than any color.

For 2019, it's White, followed by Black that are piling up on lots. Panthera Gray and Ceramic Silver look to be the ones that will run out first.

Great, congratulations!

The dealers around here are willing to work to bring the car I want in, but I suspect they aren't willing to give me any sort of "dealer-based" price brake since the car isn't in their inventory. I still want the summer tires though...
Enjoy,

Was that offer with the lease rebate or outright purchase?

It was an outright purchase. It looks like I'm going to be waiting for the 2020 to come out.....
