I thought it would be useful to have a chart of lease incentives over time.

With minor exceptions, the lease cash amounts have been updated by Kia every 2 months.

Note that in January '19 a 24-month lease option was added. As this offers the best lease cash amount, I changed the chart from 36 to 24 month leases in January. All models listed are RWD to keep the chart small.

That almost goes back to my lease month, March '18. It was $5,900. But iirc there was an added $200 for AWD.

This is a great informative post, thank you for sharing. I was really on the fence waiting for the 19 bc theres an 18 w 10400 in rebate with hefty dealer discount...i may cave and not wait for the 19 lease. Anyway...this is awesome thanks for taking the time.

A salesman on another Stinger forum posted incentives by month up until earlier this year. For the most recent I used the lease calculator on Kia's site.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Does this apply to used 2018 CPO vehicles? Submitted a query to a dealership or a used GT2 I'm interested in, but wondering if I can take advantage of the $10,400 lease cash. Also, I checked on the KIA website and couldn't pull up that figure using the calculator. Am I missing something?

EDIT: Nevermind, I see it listed for $10,000 for 12,000 mile/year.

Can you even lease a CPO vehicle from Kia?

Updated with July's incentives.

RWD shown; AWD incentives are $7000, $8000, & $9900.

Remaining '18 models no longer have lease incentives.

Hmm. They are somewhat regional, though, I believe. I got $7400 in June in CA for my 2019 GT1 AWD (24 months).

Could be. I just plug in a few different zip codes and have wound up with the same numbers.

Thanks for the information! Is there any incentive for a 36 month lease on a 19 GT1 now? I only saw 24 months listed. I'm currently looking for a 36 month lease on a 19 GT1 RWD.

There is lease cash for both 24 months and 36 months. There is more lease cash on 24 months so that typically is the better option. However, buying these cars is quickly becoming a good option as well. There are plenty of rebates with zero percent financing on traditional loans.

Thank you Travis. I need to lease since I'm paying through my business and therefore I get a tax incentive to lease. Do you know much lease cash is available for a 36 month lease?

You can ask for the lease numbers in your specific area at the link below.

Honestly, have a look at the GT2 model instead of the GT1 model. The lease cash is better with the GT2 and it does add some useful features like all around view monitor and the much better looking shifter.

Thanks for the link, i've posted there to ask. I drove a GT2 yesterday and its nice, but I can live without the surround view monitor, HUD, and power liftgate if the GT1 is $4K cheaper.

Manual Gate comes with the "T" shifter (which is a very nice looking shifter, imho). The things I found out about my car after I bought it: virtually every discovery has been, Really? Cool!

The GT1 isn’t $4k cheaper on a lease. The lease program is better on the GT2.

The GT1 is only about $1800 cheaper than the GT2 on a good lease. The resell values of the GT2 are much better as well.

We don't know this yet? AWD seems to be the sticking factor; they hold value better than RWD. Other than that, trims seem pretty equal in depreciation, all other things being considered equal.

Saw your post there... I can't find any RWD's near your zip to compare, but here are the AWD incentives:

GT1 AWD 36 mo: $6300 ($48,495-$6300 = $42,195)
GT1 AWD 24 mo: $8000 ($48,495-$8000 = $40,495)

GT2 AWD 36 mo: $8100 ($53,995-$8100 = $45,295)
GT2 AWD 24 mo: $9900 ($53,995-$9900 = $43,495)

So $3100 difference between on GT1 & GT2 on 36 month, $3000 on 24 months.

You should be able to negotiate more off the MSRP of a GT2 as well, so I think that would bring the difference closer to $2k.

Not sure if these features matter to you, but the GT2 also has heated rear seats, more adjustments on the driver & passenger seat, nappa leather, and low beam assist (headlight turning on corners).

Thanks for the info, this is very helpful! I appreciate the info on the GT2. My 14 Cadenza and 17 Sorento both had rear heated seats. It's very nice but now I've got two young kids in car seats, so it's not as important to me.

In regards to the lease cash, this is applied after any dealer discounts right? So if I negotiate a GT2 AWD down to $49500 it would be $49500 - $8100 = $41,400?
