Exact dimensions of the trunk?

I wish it was retractable , personally find it a pain when trying to load larger items

I suspect that would create a noisier cabin, which wouldn’t be good for the luxury sales pitch.

I checked out the cover in a salon the other day, and it sits pretty flat when it’s removed, so seemed like it shouldn’t be too difficult to stow under reasonably light cargo. Are you finding otherwise?

I just havent removed it yet , 90% of the time its fine but I had to pick up 2 chairs the other day and because it was attached , the hatch would not close , so I ended up putting them in the back seat .................the retractable / removable cover in our Sorento is better IMHO ,

In my opinion, a tint all around makes the cover pretty much superfluous, unless you have masochistic tendencies. Just checked it :), it's pretty black in there.
With a roll-up cover you still deal with the "fat stick" across the trunk, The hatch-back Mustangs used to have the roll-up cover, which very quickly ended up in the corner of my basement.

We tinted my wife's old 550 GT and honestly I couldnt see out of it , so I'm not adding any tint to my car , if the post was directly behind the rear seat it would work .................but hey its not so I just have to live with it ............oh the misery :geek::laugh:

oh the misery

No misery here. Seriously, from the outside, it's nearly black, and from the inside you hardly notice it. It's also not a good idea to tint the windshield and your head & tail lights. You'll be really sitting in the dark then. --Juuust kidding :)
I have no idea what my % is, as I was not there when it happened, but you may want to re-consider since you like black & white....

Your car must look like Darth Vader if you tinted it ??

It is!!!! Since Thursday afternoon - AS YOU PREDICTED.

Costco worked overtime to get the tires changed.
Very happy for you bud !!! how are the tires working , you've got the perfect test lab there this winter !!

Test lab is good. Freezer is more likely.

Main streets are all clear, although salt coated, white dust everywhere. Took it around the crescent, which has not been cleared/melted down to road surface yet, tried a hard brake and it seems to work OK.
Probably not that great in deep snow, but for that I have the snows on the Acura.
Other than that, I am waiting for warmer weather - snow forecasted for overnight - to take it for a spin. It's absolutely no fun to drive under current weather conditions. Besides, too many idiots aiming for "Darth Vader" - where were you when UVO asked me to name the car....:)

Btw, trunk's top-cover/roof is detachable?

It's removable but in the case of the snowboard, removable or not does not make any difference.

If you want to remove the cover and sits the snowboard over the seat's headrest - the seat is still unusable. Plus, I wouldn't recommend, just not safe like that.
