Some of us live in enlightened states where people don't like seeing children, dogs, and Stingers plowed down by numbskulls who are playing with their phones or cameras, so we get tickets for using them while driving. Plus, LA/OC traffic is a little too congested to safely allow paparazzi shots from the driver's seat anyway. And not all sightings would be in the right location to be caught on a dash cam, IF I had one. So if I can park and get the shot, fine, but otherwise, I'm still reporting my Stingers in the wild, and if you don't believe me, tough.
Fair enough. I wouldn't push this as a "rool". Well, actually, I have pushed it, but only in fun: and to encourage more pictures. I feel "talented" enough to manage a camera and drive at the same time. It's sort of like taking pics through binoculars. You drive looking through the camera the same way you focus through a binocular lens. It's not as though you're taking your attention off your driving; you just point and shoot while watching what you're doing. (A cop might take a dim view, however, it must be allowed.)NOT FAIR!
