Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

...just sitting in stop and go(which is why I want the nannies so badly for the ACC).

The ACC is magnificent in stop and go. I’m in Los Angeles, it happens.

I’m frequently in DC/MD/VA rush hour traffic, which is 7-days a week. I know some people like to say they bought the car to drive it, not to have the car drive itself, but I will counter that stop-and-go traffic jams don’t constitute “driving.” ACC is magnificent, and has substantively lowered my traffic frustrations (almost enough to let me forget how they screwed us ‘18 owners out of surround view). Highly unlikely I would buy another commuter car without ACC.

@westcoastGT speaks truth. "In the mouth of two or three witnesses" and that sort of thing. We need to tighten up the rools of this "wild Stingers sightings" game. @washguy keep your camera ready at all times. Mine is sitting in the cubby behind the shifter. Sometimes I even wear it dangling from my wrist (not when turning often).
NOT FAIR! Some of us live in enlightened states where people don't like seeing children, dogs, and Stingers plowed down by numbskulls who are playing with their phones or cameras, so we get tickets for using them while driving. Plus, LA/OC traffic is a little too congested to safely allow paparazzi shots from the driver's seat anyway. And not all sightings would be in the right location to be caught on a dash cam, IF I had one. So if I can park and get the shot, fine, but otherwise, I'm still reporting my Stingers in the wild, and if you don't believe me, tough.

That said, I'm in a dry spell. Where have all the Stingers gone? :(

Fair enough. I wouldn't push this as a "rool". Well, actually, I have pushed it, but only in fun: and to encourage more pictures. I feel "talented" enough to manage a camera and drive at the same time. It's sort of like taking pics through binoculars. You drive looking through the camera the same way you focus through a binocular lens. It's not as though you're taking your attention off your driving; you just point and shoot while watching what you're doing. (A cop might take a dim view, however, it must be allowed.)

Binocular shots of a robins nest last summer.

I think I've found the lair of the local yellow stinger gt. I've seen it about 4 times in 16 months. Yesterday it was lurking in Ladbury Ave Emu Plains. Being a dead end street I think he is now been declared "Non wild"

My consolation prize for not coming home with my Stinger was I saw my first yellow Stinger in the wild at Altona

You ausies are straight gangsta stalkers.

Saw a white Stinger (with black wheels) crossing Spencer and Willott in St. Peters, MO this morning. I didn't see them clearly as it was hidden behind another car, and I should've also waved. Anyways, are you on here?

................I'm not suggesting that every sighting requires "picproof" ...............but for a Stinger with flames , c'mon that needs to be seen to be believed , we're still waiting for proof that Merlin has a pet Unicorn .......................
