Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

15:20 today, Stewart Ave Newcastle, passing the Newcastle Interchange I drove past @Hemz who was heading the opposite way, gave him a wave but couldn’t tell if he saw me due to the tint. I recognised the personalised number plates from pics he’s posted on here.

Sorry mate I didn't even see another stinger while driving back! Gave my car a wash when I got home though. Was driving back from the specialist...have to get my shoulder re-operated on as the surgeon has noticed there are bone fragments potentially...from the first op 3 months ago.

Excuses excuses lol. It’s no problem mate it’s often hard to see through tinted windows so even if you had seen me I’m not sure you would’ve seen me wave. I didn’t notice you until we were almost next to each other, but had enough time to spy the front plate and realize who it was. Sorry to hear your shoulder is still causing you dramas. Hope they sort it out.

Haha not likely on that stretch of road at that time of the day, 2 sets of traffic lights within about 300 metres and a railway crossing in between them just to add to the traffic congestion.

@Hemz was the only Stinger I saw today and the only ceramic silver I’ve seen in the wild not counting the run we went on a few months back.

No, that’s a genuine in the wild sighting, never seen it before, never met each other, I just happened to recognise the plates. If I hadn’t seen the plates I would never have known who the owner was. Just pure chance it was a forum member

Ceramic grey northbound on M1 at Springwood at 3.00PM this arvo. Doubt it was a forum member though....no GT badge and 2 suspicious looking aerials coming from the back glass tell me it was an unmarked police car. Didn’t wave or make any attention getting gestures.

Yeah Blackvue DR900S, the front camera which both of those shots came from is 4K UHD. The second pic is just a zoomed in screen shot of the first one. The rear camera films in 1080p HD. The quality is quite good.

BlackVue does give pretty good quality video/pics.

SWP behind my SWP on the downtown connector around 13:30 today, followed me up 75 until I navigated ahead of the usual inept traffic.. Have to say, looks good in the rear-view mirrors..

First Stinger I've seen in about 6 weeks or so. I have seen at least a dozen Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentlys, and a handful of Rolls in that time.
