What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Today I added O2 sensor spacers to prevent the CEL from the primary DPs.

Only time will tell if the problem disappears, but so far so good.

DP = Down Pipe and it's more phonographic than pornograpic

And just wait until someone on this thread says they need a plug for their DP bung

Careful pulling your O2 sensor out of your bung or your readings will go off the charts.

Someone stop me.

It is a little tube that disables the O2 sensor by increasing the distance between its connection point and the exhaust airflow, so that it doesn't trigger a CEL.
Probably legal in Mexico, not sure about the US.

So today I go into Carl's Jr with my wife for a breakfast sandwich and a guy and his son ask if the Stinger is mine. I say yes and he said he loves it but he ended up with the G70. And, even better, he drove it to Carl's Jr as well. So I asked if we could take a look and he was happy to oblige. Very nice looking car in person, but still prefer the Stinger for its looks and it being more practical. He bought his as a retirement vehicle, and I could see maybe getting one when I retire in 10 years when it's just the wife and me.

Installing this Bad Boy today:)

I was in the same boat undecided between the stinger and the G70 but there is something sexy about the stinger, also wanted the new 3 series but did not want to be another middle aged mediocre salaried mid income mid successful worker who drives another 3 series like half a million near you.

I've never even considered buying a BMW, even with easily being able to afford the majority of them (though that ability is fairly recent)

my new friend/member cncBilly and I got together today to install his Velossa intakes and CF front bumper air intakes , pulling the nose off a Stinger is relatively straight ahead , but a tad scary . We concluded that the next time would take a fraction of the time and effort ! I give Bill a ton of credit for all the work he has done to his car , it looks great ! ...............and what a nice guy !!

What a gorgeous lineup.

Those doors on the 'Stang: who in their right mind would do that? What in the world would that mod cost? And for what purpose? It's bound to be a fitment problem not that far down the road. Am I right about that?
Owner was not around to ask but it was fitted well.
