Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

Wifey just passed a white Stinger coming home from shopping....this makes the 3rd one we have seen since August of 2018 a black, blue, and white one :) Wash

It's been raining here all day, the poor Hi-Chroma red that just drove up north on Dufferin near Yorkdale mall will have water spots tomorrow :(
easy, fix, good Gyeon or Car pro ceramic coating would decrease chance of that.

Saw my first white one this Saturday in Hamburg. we where looking at each other, mesmerized by the cars. than he saluted me and took off

Was watching an old episode of Street Outlaws No Prep and noticed something familiar.

12.50pm today a SWP exiting underground carpark in Formosa St Drummoyne. Despite being so careful still managed to scrape front lip on gutter. Also noticed a tow bar was fitted, looked like a neat job. DXH***

You watched them scrape?!

Yesterday, between 4:30 and 5 p.m., I saw a black one on the eastbound 210, exiting to my right at Sierra Madre. It passed me before I realized it was there, and traffic in my lane prevented me from pulling up to see what trim it was, but I'm fairly certain this wasn't a repeat sighting. My 23rd. It gave my passenger a thrill, since this was only her second in the wild.

Well, I've seen so few in thirteen months (only seven) that any sighting at all is a thrill to me. I drive with my camera ready to snatch up and steal a pic. But so far, no further sightings since I began this habit. I have also recorded in a notebook all seven sightings: Stinger particulars, location, time.

Merlin, we are just too obsessive and need to get lives! :geek: But truthfully, unlike the Aussies on another thread who count roadkill on roadtrips , when I was a kid my dad challenged me to identify cars by make and model, so I had early training and now have a practiced eye. Around the San Gabriel Valley, gorgeous cars are a dime a dozen—I think that I see more Ghiblis than Stingers—but a Stinger sighting is still an event. I've told myself I'll stop counting at 25.

Australia is much less densely populated than the States. We might drive for hours without hitting a town or anywhere to buy food so being able to locate fresh roadkill is a vital survival skill. :D

Yep, I had parked on the road and was walking down footpath when Stinger emerged and stopped on driveway. He edged it forward very slowly but it still scraped. I was right next to it and exchanged a glance....he looked a little embarrassed.

Do you think it was lowered? Or are your gutters just that damned deep/steep?

Stock except for tow bar. This particular section of ramp, footpath, gutter and road was nasty. Normally no problems on most crossovers.
