Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

Is it a good idea to get an ECU tune on top of the jb4 + WMI? what gains can be expected? The tune alone makes about 80whp.

JB4 can get you up to around 460-470whp depending on mods. If you want that last 20-30hp being able to make a few changes on the flash side will definitely help.

Ok, so not so big gains in term of power.

It's too early to tell what the gains are but relatively minor in terms of power, yes. Maybe there will be secondary benefits like better launch mode launches, removing speed limiter (in a safe way), dampening throttle safety, etc.

Off topic, but did you know you can actually use launch control in 2nd gear? I tried it yesterday but only got a 0-30 reading on Dragy because I started going sideways lol. I wonder if us traction limited RWD'ers might see any better times this way

I think it forces you back to 1st gear regardless of what gear you're in when you initiate it.

Nope, mine definitely launches in 2nd as well.

Anyways, I saw that someone else had the JB4 dashboard going to their dash display, is that only possible through apple carplay? Or is it possible with android auto?

Theres a tutorial somewhere in the forums but it requires a rooted device.

If you have version 7 or newer you don't need to enable it.

I'm sure if someone knew the answer they would have helped. Posting a link to the thread where you may find the information is being helpful and should be appreciated. Beyond that you could always contact the BMS support team for further assistance.

Someone did also tell you if you are on firmware 7 or greater you dont change the user settings its pre set for you.

If you need help with something more custom hit up the support team via email.

Somebody did homeboy. Read the answer. Firmware 7 or greater they are preset. If you are on a lower firmware..... UPDATE.

You still have to change these things though right?? Because these numbers contradict what’s in the post I changed it to v8. Isn’t it adjustable or it just means it out 1pt across the board. Not everyone speaks in qwerty

No. You dont chnage anything. They can be blank. Again they are set for you if you are on v7 or higher......
