Sounds goodIf you're not using them, those might be perfect for me. Not sure the diameter of those posts but I think I could finagle them to work with some minor mods (my filters have the standard 3" connection, not the universal 3 to 4 inch). Let me know, maybe I can see them at a meet if organized, or I'll probably be at the motor show on the Saturday of the weekend it's going on. Or otherwise.
I’ll be waiting another 2 weeks maybe. When is everyone putting their summer tires on?
You're brave lol. I really want mine on but I might wait until later in April. I will say, as amazing as my Nokian Hakka's are in the winter, they suck if it gets too warm out (above 15C).I’ll be waiting another 2 weeks maybe.
Yeah I may wait for a bit because I have to drive to Calgary April 11-13.You're brave lol. I really want mine on but I might wait until later in April. I will say, as amazing as my Nokian Hakka's are in the winter, they suck if it gets too warm out (above 15C).
On, I put it into smart mode if it gets too icy. When is everyone putting their summer tires on?
You dont drive yours much in the winter tho, right? On, I put it into smart mode if it gets too icy.
Yep, so it always has summer on. I started driving it for about 2 weeks now.You dont drive yours much in the winter tho, right?
The usual advice is to wait until the average temperature is 7 degrees or more. I generally wait until mid-May, too much chance of snow before then (and being Calgary after then as well) and morning temperatures are below what pure summer tires require. When is everyone putting their summer tires on?
I had the Michelin Pilot Super Sports on my Mustang back in '15 and was hit with an April snowfall (minor one) and the car did much better than I thought for an all-summer performance tire. In the mornings when the temperatures hovered around zero Celsius, it would break traction rather easy off the lights. With that said, I do not advocate running summer tires in winter conditions...The usual advice is to wait until the average temperature is 7 degrees or more.
