• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Nice, I have a set of brand new Heat Shields you can have(free), ordered the wrong size for my K&N, might work for you.

If you're not using them, those might be perfect for me. Not sure the diameter of those posts but I think I could finagle them to work with some minor mods (my filters have the standard 3" connection, not the universal 3 to 4 inch). Let me know, maybe I can see them at a meet if organized, or I'll probably be at the motor show on the Saturday of the weekend it's going on. Or otherwise.

Sounds good

I’ll be waiting another 2 weeks maybe.
You're brave lol. I really want mine on but I might wait until later in April. I will say, as amazing as my Nokian Hakka's are in the winter, they suck if it gets too warm out (above 15C).

Yeah I may wait for a bit because I have to drive to Calgary April 11-13.

And then I’m gone to Mexico for a week.

When is everyone putting their summer tires on?
The usual advice is to wait until the average temperature is 7 degrees or more. I generally wait until mid-May, too much chance of snow before then (and being Calgary after then as well) and morning temperatures are below what pure summer tires require.

I had the Michelin Pilot Super Sports on my Mustang back in '15 and was hit with an April snowfall (minor one) and the car did much better than I thought for an all-summer performance tire. In the mornings when the temperatures hovered around zero Celsius, it would break traction rather easy off the lights. With that said, I do not advocate running summer tires in winter conditions...
