3.3TT Kia Stinger Aftermarket Exhaust Information and Discussion

I think the quality is there, but that's based off what I saw and the opinion of the Ark exhaust owner. The only issue I have had is fitment, or making sure the exhaust does not rub on the drive shaft.

thanks for your video , by the sound of the valve open and close there seems to be a lots of Drone ,, that will fill the cabin ,, from what I heard ! perhaps it will be more quiet with more sound proofing in the trunk !
I had to have 2 resonators put back on after the muffler delete ,, but now my seems ok ,but still some drone at low RPM load s !!

Does anyone have Junbl GT version? I love the sound on all videos that I have found, sounds a little deeper than the evc open. I would love to know how it compares to borla in loudness just concerned it may be too loud for everyday driving. For instance I dont want to be mustang or dodge charger loud. Any input would be a great help. It's either GT VER. Or Evc performance. Thanks in advance Rob

Correction: I thought for some reason you were asking TUBI - And if anyone is interested I just had this priced today - prepare to pay around 10k just for the full system, never mind the install - I would like to hear as well, but with kinda price tag.. good luck - any takers?!

$10k for a catback?! Lmao! Why?! Who?

What kind of idiot would pay 25% of the vehicle's cost for a catback? Aftermarket exhausts for Ferraris don't even cost that much!

They are both expensive. If I get evc I worry I will never close it. If I get gt I worry it may be too loud all the time. To me just from vids it sounds quieter than borla

Who priced that out for you?
Whoever did is completely ripping you off.

Wow is all I have to say. The price i got for a custom turbo back exhaust was 2400... at those prices I would hope it was titanium with rubies and going on a ferrari...

Wow this person is definitely trying to rip you off. Those prices for the exhaust on every part are super inflated.

I'm ready to buy an axle back muffler delete but am still concerned with drone. Did anyone ever come out with a muffler delete with resonator system? SSR never answered my email from a few weeks ago. Didn't see an answer on the NGM Omega posts either about sound and availability. I'm leaning towards the SSR vs muffler shop cutting out the existing mufflers and adding a resonator in case i decide to go back to the stock system. Also looking at either K&N or BMS intake, got good feedback from an owner that the K&N is louder but I can get one cheaper than the BMS. Still deciding.
I just run on the Dyno a few days ago, and And on the second run 337 hp and last run was 320hp that is with muffler delete ,RS Chip AND BMS k/ n intakes, not so much:) but ok for now :)

You should save your results until you can get tested on a real RPM dyno. 320-330whp is about what STOCK Stingers run.

I’m sorry to say, but if you’re not pushing over 400whp+ with a chip, intakes & exhaust something is seriously wrong.

He is probably AWD which has a different amount of drivetrain loss than the RWD.

I was hoping for more than 320-hp for more , but my torque was bit better at 552 ft lbs getting a Borla Cat back put on this Thursday ,
I read that AWD gts gets stock Dyno s around 290 hp , and RWD gts run sound 320 stock , as for my car perhaps this Chevron 94 is really lower and I had some octane boost addded , I will try to have my car on the Dyno again after the new Cat Back get put on , just hope the numbers don’t drop more lol

Correct my Stinger GT AWD and now it looks like I will wait for 2 more weeks to get my down pipes and Borla cat back put on :( that should help it out I hope)

I understand your point, however even AWD Stingers are producing 310whp+ stock. No matter what the drivetrain loss a chip by itself will add 50whp+ so I was simply saying it’s probably just unusual MPH dyno results.

IMO it’s better to wait until he can really show his potential 400whp+ than to have people believe he’s only adding 15-20whp.

It was for sure not, what I expected for my first Dyno results and not sure how I got 320 hp but got 552 lb ft but in 9 days time my parts should be in including my sway bars as well as the down the Jun down pipes and Borla Cat back :) then try to get another Dyno run !

Exactly my point. If you made 130wtq more than stock then you should be easily adding 80whp+. Once you add DPs and exhaust you should be in the 420-450whp range like most other Stingers with the same mods.

Just make sure they do a RPM dyno run this time and hopefully your numbers will look much better on round 2.;)
