What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I'm sure I already posted it here, but I still managed to mark up a rear wheel, because when switching from reverse to drive, the "buttons" to change view did not appear on the screen as they normally should, and it was only showing the front camera. Plus I had a car waiting to pass behind me.
Oh, crap. That is a fubar I did not even think about: 360 camera view failing to display properly.:(

Not on MY2018s. A lot of us contacted Kia long before the cars arrived in the US asking about it, and several people associated with KIA—even those employed by corporate—told me they could see no reason why we wouldn't get it since it was available on the Cadenza, but nonetheless, they cheaped out on us.

Do I sound bitter? Naaaaah.

Believe it or not the lack of the 360 camera, wireless charging and a black interior in a black car kept me away from the 2018. I wanted discounts the dealers didn't want to give me for not getting all I wanted. Looks like waiting a year paid off.

I wish my trade in had been in good enough condition to hold off, but I needed to buy as soon as the white GT2s hit dealerships at the end of '17. Since I don't care about wireless charging and I wanted a black interior, I have to just be happy I got my Stinger in time to avoid impending repairs on my old car. And so far, I've had no problems/damage due to lack of 360, knock wood.

I was just so disappointed at all those Canadian YouTube videos with the goodies we didn't get. I'm still a little bit off that my GT2 was not delivered to my home in a plexiglass enclosed trailer...

Back on topic (whoop):

Since Tuesday I have ordered a JB4 and software, BMS intake, Denso plugs, rubber floor mats, cargo mat, 'E' emblem kit, and a hood deflector. Maybe someday soon I will get the time to do something about that stuff when it comes in...

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Today ordered my Eibach Pro Kit lowering Springs:)

I'm getting ready to do my first power washer wash...do you spray the soap foam onto the car and let it just work it's way down and then spray off with water? Or do you foam and then scrub with a microfiber?
I spray the foam on, let it sit for about 5 minutes to soak then pressure wash it off. You can still do a normal hand wash after that if you want, the foams are usually a prewash soak but depending on how dirty the car is can be just as good as a normal wash with half the effort

I foam with a cannon (PH neutral of coarse), let sit for 5 min. Then pressure rinse (not too close). Then take it on a freeway loop to air dry. Finish with a top coat spray that my ceramic coating pro provided with many clean micro fiber cloths. Easy Peasy.

I use my battery leaf blower on the bodywork & wheels, good for getting into those water traps, I then use a micro fibre cloth to finish off & also separate micro fibre cloth for the glass only...takes no more than 10 mins.

I did the leafblower thing first, then hit the freeway. Next time I'll hit the freeway first and finish with the blower.:)
