LAP3-PROSS ECU Tune in development

When it's set to 666 and used with 93 octane it performs best...I think I read that somewhere.

According to k5OS switching from 91 to 93 octane setting should give you an additional 14 hp.

Of course. Other various limiters will be unlocked/adjusted to provide superior drivability.
This right here makes that Item almost priceless to a LARGE group of us I will be following this post with a microscope now,the speed limiter MUST be able to be removed david !!!
 
The tune will most likely be sold with a new spare ECU.

Simple plug & Play, and also doesn't leave any re-flash trace on your factory ECU.

This method has been the best for tuning Hyundai & Kia, especially if you are worried about dealership visits.

This baby will be in my hands on the 15TH cant wait !!! now if only all the other stuff from another company on here grrrrr would just get to my door step I could install it all !! 1200 and for all you new tuners out there or youngins remember if your going to use this tuner and use the option to remove the speed limiter YOU NEED TIRES WITH THE PROPER SPEED RATING ! I cant stress that enough don't put this in and do 160mph on 130mph rated tires you will die. then im sure something legal will happen cuz that's what everyone resorts to when they don't know how to do something the proper way or are inexperienced and hurt themselves,then this tuner will be taken off the market im sure. Thatswhy I got mine now before this happens so don't forget the cost of the unit and a new set of properly rated tires ! have a great day all.

ECU tune 1 year in the making....
 
I am really interested to see if they still plan to sell it on a spare ECU and if so, what that price would be...
Their last post indicated it will only be available on a spare ECU since they seal the data ports that would let someone possibly see the data. I can't even imagine the price considering their piggyback cost... ECU tune + spare ECU = $2500?

That was my guess. I was thinking probably close to $2k which would be a no go for me. But you can get an ECU for $800. I am hoping they can source them cheaper to make this a decent price.

Yea, but they still haven't really shown any real benefits with the ECU tune compared to their piggyback. Why would anyone spend ~$2k when you get basically the same performance for ~$500 with a JB4? Really, no ECU tune has shown any real benefits compared to a piggyback yet (bigger turbos / hybrid turbos excluded). Yes I understand that the ECU is limited in some aspects but it hasn't been an issue yet on stock turbos.

Their ECU tuned stinger was running 600 HP. That's a massive difference from piggybacks including their lap3 pro
