What did you do to your Stinger in Australia today?

It also has wide straps with clips, to strap it under the car, but won't use them, and have to be very careful with the straps and more the plastic clips when putting on and taking off, the guy at Autotecnica said some owners cut them off.

I've got those straps too but don't need to use them. Just throw them under the car when I'm away.

A few weeks ago i bought a role of Hexis C4800 smoked tint, i watched the video on how to put it on it looks quite a job and fidly. Those ones you have would be easier.
I still haven't installed yet.

I have been thinking of purchasing a car cover for my Stinger since last year, I finally decided to purchase yesterday, I bought a Autotecnica Show Car Cover, decided on the Blue with White stripe, there is also Black and Red with white stripe. Although available at Autobarn, Rare Spares, and maybe Supercheap auto, I decided to travel about 15 minutes to the supplier themselves , they tried on a black with white stripe in a large size, I have included one photo at Autotecnica and some photos of my Stinger undercover.
So, what do you think, especially you @AV8R , you asked me too post these photos...., a thumbs up

No, I already had the bumper reflectors blacked out.

Bugger, I thought I had it lol. Just looked at your pic again, I missed the tint on the lights the first time.

How does it affect the image in the reversing camera at night with the reverse lenses blacked out? I find at times now it’s very dull and mine’s stock. I know some upgraded the reverse lights to LED and brightened them up. Thoughts?

I changed to LED some time ago and the difference was amazing. I've only had one chance to check if much difference now and that was in the basement of my building. Looking in rear view mirror it does not appear quite as bright but on the camera view I couldn't see any difference.

Drove back from Port Macquarie, decided to detour via Taree, and the Big Oyster which is also the Kia dealership. Couldn’t resist the urge to snap a pic, although it would be equally well placed in the “Country towns with big things” thread.
Tried to grab a look at the MY19 but they didn’t have any Stingers in stock. Salesman came out and ended up looking at mine as he was curious when I mentioned the rebadging. He agreed rear large Stinger script looks so much better than how they come from the factory. Anyway after that I made my way south and decided to detour again and got off the Pacific Hwy and took the Lakes Way for the full length from Rainbow Flat to Bullahdelah. Lots of twists and turns and on the southern end a couple of good straights to stretch her legs a little hardly any traffic once I got south of Forster which made it even better

Did you get your plates mate? I've got the dealership registering my car with mine when they arrive on the 21st.

Premium tint inlays ordered. The hexis sheet stuff way too fidly. The hairdyer to soften it makes super hard to rub out the creases that form.

Had the whole light assembly off whilst doing the rear LEDs, thought it might have been easier then to add the hexus sheet while i was there. Answer: No.

After the lease guys were stuffing me around and making me hand sign some forms that I can't get to a printer and scanner easily (and don't really feel I should have to) I've opted for a 5.64% flexible no monthly repayment new car loan to which I'm going to smash out over 5 years instead. Yay for no contract leasing and can pay out as quick as I want. Hehe

Brings me to a solid question....what dash cams are you all running? I was thinking about wiring a blackvue 950 front and rear into it. Is 4k worth it for the extra angle coverage? Hmmm

Where are you looking at getting it from and who were you getting to wire it up? I’ve been looking at the blackvue 900S (I think you meant that one) but depending on size of memory card and if I get both cameras it’s close to $1000. A lot of money for a camera. Not sure if I’ll get front and rear or just front

I was just going to wire it myself as the quotes I did receive were $300-350.
Not sure yet though....maybe we could make a day out of it and do it together?

Viewing angle difference in 1080p and 4k!! So worth it haha
