SSR muffler deletes

I’m seriously considering pulling the trigger on the ssr muffler deletes. Anyone have any insight/experience/reviews and/or thoughts on these?

I’ve just seen people say they drone pretty badly. You may want to checkout their secondary cat deletes. Adds some nice sound to the stock catback, 30hp, and no drone.

I have them and love them .... they sound great it gives the car a deep mean sound .... there is drone when driving on confort mode at low rpm (0-1.5) when going easy on the gas .... on sport mode when driving above 1.5 rpm or so your good to go .... I personally don’t find the drone bad as people here find it to be ....In my opinions the best combo is ssr downpipes and muffler deletes ... that’s what I have .... I say get them and don’t second guess yourself ...

Would you say the value of buying this is better than just having a muffler shop run a straight pipe? Its essentially the same and can be done for a lot cheaper. Or is there something more to it?

That’s what I’m afraid of - just don’t want it to be to overpowering. Need to be able to use my Bluetooth while driving and still sound professional.

Sorry for all the questions just trying to make a smart decision. Im a single dad with 2 toddlers and don’t want to make the car uncomfortable for them to ride in (which is everyday).

Depends you get amazing deals lol ...... It depends on the shop I guess you would have to locally source a shop and compare that cost to the SSR DP and muffler deletes .... but agree it could be done cheaper ...... now the only reason I went with the SSR is because 1. Is straight bolt on and I can always go back to a stock 2. My local shop was charging me an arm and leg so the cost saving was not worth it at all ..... plus their work seemed shitty .....

Lol toddlers love loud noises just as much as they love to make loud sounds .... I have a 4 year old and 1 year old and no issues here .... I say if your concerned about noise don’t do it .... you seemed to want a very particular sound and have very specific concerns .... my opinion of loud or not loud might be completely different than yours ..... i have some videos on you tube of the sound outside the car .... that might help ..... lol yes you should be able to use Bluetooth with no issues, I don’t see how that would be affected .... as far as your kids you would know them better than I do ...my kids love the exhaust .... and they fall asleep on the car all the time so I came to the clonsusion that the exhaust is beneficial with the kids at least that’s what I told the wife .....and yes the power increase is very noticible with the ssr down pipes and muffler deletes ... although most of the power came from the DP .....

Guys the drone is terrible ...... again I repeat the drone is terrible especially is worse in confort mode ... the drone is really bad the whole car vibrates .... holy cow the drone is terrible ..... wow ... the sound is good thou it gives the car a personality ... never been in a car with this much drone in my life .... again the drone is terrible ... now the down pipes by themselves there is no drone and the sound is just like stock .... again I repeat the drone is terrible

So you seen people ? You don’t actually own the product ? Do you own the ssr muffler deletes ? If you don’t then it’s hard to take your opinion for a product that you don’t own or have tested......

People will agree and disagree ..... just be careful from taking input from those that don’t even own the product lol ....People will say that they seen or heard but have never bought the product or tested the product themselves .... if you are extremely concerned about sound or drone and want more performance then leave the oem exhaust alone and just get the SSR downpipes ....that’s my advise .... if you want sound with performance the man get both ...

Thank you! The videos help immensely. That’s a lot of noise! May be a bit more then I’m looking for but you have both downpipes and exhaust - I’m not looking to do both. At least I don’t think I am....

Yes you are correct it only removes the secondary cats ..... one of the video only has the down pipes on .... so if that is to much sound I would leave your exhaust untouched ....

If you remove the mufflers/resonators YOUR CAR WILL DRONE. That's the answer to the question "will it drone?" Period.

The only way you won't deal with drone after deleting the mufflers is if you find a way to ONLY drive downhill.

If you want zero drone skip SSR muffler deletes, Borla, and Ark. All have been reviewed on here and youtube. All have been found to drone.
