Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

Not bad! JB4 log of the 460whp run? Let's see if it looks like it had anything more in there. :)

Yup, I think I maybe reached the limit of the stock intake box, cause there isn't a huge difference between map 3 and 5.

I did a baseline when I first got the car, dyno attached, completely stock on 93oct.

I don’t think there was a huge difference between map 3 and map 5 with intakes as well. Peak hp at least. Could be just reaching the end of the power the stock turbos will make.

Looks really clean. You could try a bit more boost but I don't think it would increase power much. Next stop: 11s!

Yes that's just minor boost oscillation the higher boost target combined with bolt on mods like intakes. Caused by WGDC oscillating due to too much gain. In some cases the ECU will adapt it out, in other cases you'll want to lower the target if it bothers you. Perfectly harmless. As mentioned setting on FutureUseD bit7 on is helpful if it comes up under heavy part throttle.
Just curious. Can the FUD Bit7 be changed on the fly like switching maps? Or any "User Adjustment Settings" should only be changed with "engine off, ignition on" like with firmware updates?

Also, is this setting more or less significant when using "Sport mode" vs "Comfort mode"? My buddy always uses Sport mode and seems to exaggerate the oscillations, but just tested Comfort mode and they're much less noticeable when Bit7 is off.:thumbup:

Is it possible that using Sport mode with the "high target boost" from firmware 7/8 updates could be a culprit?

Thats good to know, I have like maybe ten 12.1 runs. I think I reached the limit of my tire setup, I can't get below 2.05 60', the tires are 1 inch taller and it takes a surprisingly noticeable amount of time more than the OEM wheel/tire setup to get into full power after launching, and with the OEM wheels/tires it just burns through 1 & 2.

I am looking at drag/radial options at the moment, need to find the smallest wheels that will clear my BBK 370mm rear brakes. I am waiting on Enkei to reply if the 17x9.5 RPF1 will fit, it needs to have a 212mm barrel to clear.

Would love to see if you get any faster/power with adding a intake. 460whp is already impressive.
 
Just came back from the dyno.

Run 3 - Map 5
Run 1 - Map 3
Run 6 - Map 2
Run 7 - Map 1

All on 93oct and 50/50 WMI. Mods in sig.
Let me apologize first if it is a stupid question but why didn't you use Map 8? I thought it was the map for WMI setup.

Also, are the exhaust and cats stock?

Can you not get 93? Maybe run an E85 mix?

91 and intakes according to Burger was dynod at 416.

Intakes and e85 mix was dynod at 434

Unfortunately I'm in Vegas where it's 91, a few stations with E85, or race fuel. Might look into an E85 mix. Will that damage the car at all in the long term? I didn't know if the Stinger would accept any E85 at all.

Lay ive got the K%N drop in filters on my gt2 rwd...and all I can say what gains and charts you see on paper do not equal the fun factor you get when you 're behind the wheel....if 91 is all you can get, put some e85 in the tank on fill up....ill bet you map 2 will work for ya just fine :) Wash

What I do is fill up a 25l jug and use 12.5L per tank. It’s a nice bump in octane you could probably run map 3 with it but I would check the logs to make sure.

I have a separate Snow Performance WMI, its not integrated into the JB4.

Mods in my sig. Im running NGT primaries and JUN midpipe and catback, but i added high flow cats in the jun midpipe.
 
Just purchased the JB4 with fuel wires and the blutooth dongle. As well as spark plugs. Looking forward to getting this on as soon as it arrives. Hoping it arrives in time, I am leaving town for 2 weeks on the 2nd of feb.

My car has done a hard shift from 2nd to 3rd while doing 0-60 twice in the last week. It’s been cold here near freezing if that change so anything. I thought I read it was a Torque limit, is that correct? And is there anything that can be done?

Send a log to terry. your IATs might be too low. What kind of temps are you seeing?
