Man, he didn't have much nice to say about the Lincoln Town Car. But that's how we liked our luxury vehicles back then - soft riding. On the other side of the spectrum were stiff suspensions from Europe that rattled your internal organs over imperfect pavement. It appears we've all come to a worldly agreement that somewhere in the middle is the right place to be.

I don't actually since I haven't watched it. However the episode promo from link implies that it is in the next episode. It looks like a challenge/race downhill against some skateboarders.

I know they say Fridays but really it gets put up Thursday nights. Last few episodes I've watched around 9pm EST on Thursday but does anyone know just how early it gets posted?

I just watched; right at the beginning of the episode. The Stinger "race" was very stylistic, but didn't have much substance IMO. I didn't even think the fancy camera angles did much to make it seem particularly fast. That said, he did have lots of compliments, and it was fun to see it being driven hard.

@iclicku, I don't want to spoil it, but you were right to expect a North Korea joke.

Yeah a little disappointing. Of course on a twisty road nothing really looks that fast. I was hoping for a little more input from James May but I guess I'm just excited to soon own something that was even featured on Grand Tour at all.

the segment is nonetheless a good show-case for the amiable May. He always does better driving solo, when he is spared from having to serve as hilarious (not very hilarious) comic relief for his co-hosts. And that’s the case here as he tootles with quiet intent

Well. To me actually: How disappointing. They drove it. And that's it. No comments or whatever, really. The occasional "It has RWD" etc is just info from a prospectus. Nah, after seeing it in the trailer, I expected way more. negative or positive. but way more talk than basically nothing. Ah well.

with these guys, the less ridicule means the better the car. they could have a field day with the kia shtick. i think its a great honor to have them feature kia and bugatti chiron in same episode. car snobs will always be car snobs.
