What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Installed a DIY intake today. Ordered shorter 90 degree pipes so that I can fit the heat shields that I bought. Looking forward to the finished product, but happy with the initial results.

For the pipes, I installed the Spectre Performance 9499, but I just ordered the Spectre Performance 86981 to replace them.

Spontaneous overnight trip to Gatlinburg and area, including a drive thru the Great Smokey Mountains. This car was made for these kinds of trips!

Came out better than expected. Centered the gt(and2) and the AWD AS I HATED THE ORIGINAL PLACEMENT.

I’ll get some shots tomorrow of the full back end (powder coated exhaust tips, the gloss black stinger/gt/AWD badges and the black red vintage Kia emblem).

I’m tempted to now black gloss PPF the dark chrome window accent

Talked to the tint shop about wrapping it yesterday

This is what I did....Good thing wheels are going in to be painted gloss black and they can fix this at the same time.

What did you use to black out the emblems?

Wipes them down with 70% running alcohol. 3 light coats of adhesion promoter. 1 tack coat of the black paint... then 3 wet coats. About 3 minutes apart. Let them cure for 5 days.
