Will a evc exhaust cause performance problem with the computer always adjusting back and forth. It has been said on this forumthat it takes some time for the computer to adjust. I have no clue about this topic and any info would be appreciated.

I thought the EVC systems like Jun BL were vacuum controlled? If that is the case, I don't think there would be an adjustment period. Either way, I don't think exhaust systems "adjust" the same way as intakes for flow. I doubt these adjustment claims are true, but I am not a tuner and cannot warrant this opinion.

I have jun Bl evc and turn it off and on all the time and never notice a difference besides sound. I had the car on the dyno after the install and the car made 15whp with valves open. That was with back to back dyno runs as well.

Sweet thanks. Are you happy with it. Do you have the version where the valved pipes have their own muffler. I am interested in hearing the new one with the valved and unvalved pipes in same muffler total of 2 mufflers. Assuming you have 4.

Yeah I have the four muffler. I love it! I have jun Bl downpipes as well and with valves closed the car is very quiet. I would say it’s maybe even more quiet then when it was stock. Flip the switch and it gets loud. The new sport version looks good too but it’s the cheaper version so there is only one muffler so it’s not as quiet with valves closed.

Oh ok great info. Now confused on downpipe. Do you still have primary cats?. Wouldnt that be the downpipe. And the pipe with secondary cats be the midpipe? Thanks

Jun Bl and ssr call them downpipes but yes they are more of a mid pipe for sure. I still have primary’s so no check engine lights. The good thing about the jun Ian it comes with a resonated x pipe that kills any raspy metal sounds you can get from deleting the secondary’s. If you also deleted the primary’s you would probably get rasp and also over boost issues but I jb4 can stop the over boost and check engine light. I’m really happy with my setup right now. I have jun exhaust, k&n panel filters, jb4 and stock plugs gapped down. With a flip of a switch and turning the jb4 to stock mode car feels just like stock you would never know it has mods. But with the valves open and jb4 on the car is making way more power and pulls very hard. I made 375whp on map 2 on a mustang dyno. That’s like 420-430whp on a dyno jet so around 450-465 crank hp only on map 2 probably making close to 500 on the higher settings.

Is it possible to video a drive bye, start up and inside highway 60mph. I know it's a tall order but I think many including myself would love this setup. Oh ps. All in open mode. Thanks anything you can share would be appreciated

I don’t have any videos at the moment but this video shows the sound closest to how it really sounds that I’ve found online.

I have the 2 muffler Jun bl and ssr down/mid pipe set up... I love it.

For the rasp removal is it more the cross over than the resonator? I have Ark with H and X cross overs but no resonators. I'll see soon enough but hoping its the cross over.

It’s hard to say but I think it’s the combination of the two. I have talked to guys with the borla and jun Bl downpipes and he got bad rasp as well. I was getting rasp with jun Bl downpipes and oem catback.

FYI, the JUN EVC center muffler is an H-Type.
