It wasn't too bad, but tightening down the new BOVs was kind of a headache. If you plan to recirculate instead of vent to atmosphere, I'll tell you getting the hoses on the new BOV will be a huge pain in the ass.

Then realized a $250 mistake in the grand scheme of things means nothing.

I’d go get a quote at a body shop. Could be a straightforward fix. I curbbed the poop out of a brand new wheel (first time I ever curbbed a wheel nonetheless). I was so pissed I think I had the strength to throw the damn car lol. End of the day it cost me $180 to fix and it looked like new. Don’t sweat it bro. Stuff like this happens.

Body shop won’t be able to respray paint matching hichroma red for less than the cost of the prepainted replacement. I’ll wait a bit and see if I need other body work done next year. Maybe paint matching splitter / side skirts.

Get a Kia touch up pen. You'll live with yourself easier if you don't have glaring gashes in your paint. You might even do a spiff enough job that the damage hardly shows.

Yeah, mine were over ten bucks for the first one (the "chisel" shaped, fiber tip), and sixteen for the one with a pen tip and paint brush.

Tried one of those, trying to fix my rebadge massacre. Not too shabby, seemed a tint off on the Ceramic.
