How to remove the Kia badge and install the E badge on the Kia Stinger hood

I wish the emblem with cutoff posts sold here had only one removed, I watched the video on Youtube and not having the good 2 posts might be an issue when aligning the E badge. should I hotglue some plastic guides ? What do you think ?
It's definitely easier with the guide posts on the E badge. Makes it completely fool proof.

Just got my E badge... looking to install on Saturday and praying for no paint issues.

I've just realised that all 3 posts are removed on the front e badge in the full kit sold here. :(

Might have to buy another badge now with the posts for easy alignment.

Not sure why the badge sold here doesn't just have the single bottom post removed rather than all 3?

I believe there's the option to buy with posts or without posts.

I’ll have to cut my own post off, I’m hoping to install the mud guards today, too.

Emblem installed, I’ll get pics tomorrow... some minor scratches. Definitely going to buff where the edges of the old emblem was. But the emblem looks amazing.

I bought the full set off here and the E badge just had one post cut, not all 3. I would contact Sal on here and see if he can help you out.
Thanks, that is good to know. On the pictures for the set it shows all three cut off but I'll wait and see. Hopefully they'll be waiting for me when I'm home next week.

It was much easier with the two posts, eliminated any guessing. I did need make sure I kept pressure on the left side post in a clockwise motion so it was level, to my eyes anyway.

Completely missing the point of an E badge on a Kia Stinger.
It’s the badge they use in South Korea that denotes the car is more upmarket than the standard Kia, just like Lexus, Infiniti, Acura etc.

I don’t think any of us are, the E stands for: Engineered by Excellence' are the core themes. Exclusive (for a select few), Exquisite (sophisticated and sensitive), Evolutionary (constantly evolving) presents the direction of the new premium line-up of Kia.

For those who have installed the E badge, did you buy it with our without the posts?

Go to a smash repairer/panel shop they should be able to manage that for you.

Yeah, the badges simply look better AND they are the original badges used for the car. Not hiding the fact it's KIA, just using the better looking KIA symbols.
