What did you pay for your Kia Stinger?

Here in UAE (Dubai) I paid 45000$ for a GT2 there are some option are missing like radar cruise control and lane keep assistant other than that all option included like 360 camera and wireless charging etc.

3 dealers in my vicinity. One had 10k markup, the others 5k and 0k. Haggled with the 10k markup (they had the model i wanted) and got them down to $51,400 usd for a gt1 black/red interior with a few "factory installed" extras. Took a few days but i think they really wanted to get that first one out the door. Btw, this car is amazing (been driving a corolla for the last 10 years)
The Stinger GT is certainly an amazing upgrade from the Toyota Corolla! It looks like you patiently waited for the right opportunity to move into something special...

Welcome aboard, @bilal! And thank you for signing up. :) Congratulations on your new Stinger GT! Are there many Stingers in Dubai yet? What did you drive before the Stinger?

Wow, so you got one! Great! $680/month isn't cheap but the Stinger isn't a cheap car to begin with. What deal did you end up getting with the Audi S5?

Congratulations on your brand new Stinger GT!!

Ahh, Dodge Charger RT, huh? So you're already accustom to having a powerful car. I'm sure the Stinger is going to suit you just fine. In fact, it'll be a very nice upgrade. I hope more Stingers get to Dubai very soon!

The Audi dealer I was working with was supposedly going to give me a big discount but came back with absolute trash. I really got upset about the time and promises that were wasted. No reason to even post the ugly numbers but needless to say there was no "discount."

Which brings me back to the Stinger. Sure the payment is high, relatively speaking. But after talking with 4 dealers, I found that Kia of Bellingham (KOB) was the only dealership to offer near invoice pricing on their car (NADA shows invoice at $49,113 including destination for the GT2 AWD.) Everyone else was using "adjusted market values" to jack up the MSRP and wouldn't budge.

The numbers KOB gave me matched exactly with the numbers I calculated on LeaseHackr.com so I believe they weren't trying to juice anything. Considering the recent release of the car, I think I managed to lease the car without being gouged by any "new car tax."

I will be interested to compare what sort of lease/purchase deals show up on the forums in the next couple months.

Ya see that? When all is said and done the Stinger really is a great deal. I know - it's expensive - but compared to other deals - it's extremely sensible. You just bought a sensible car that you're going to love the hell out of for the next few years. You did good! :)

Wow, you were able to talk them down nearly 3k on a GT2?? What dealer was this? I would seriously consider flying out (have a million rewards miles sitting around anyway...) and driving the car back for $3k off MSRP AND $6800 in lease cash. That's a terrific deal.

This was Smith Kia of Bellingham, Washington. The 6800 lease cash should be easy to obtain as it is a nationwide promo. The negotiations on price were pure luck I guess.

I merely posted my numbers so some of you could show other dealers what they can do for you...not to brag. I apologize if it came off that way.

So there was no $900 destination, or was that included in the 49533.99?

You got a great deal, congrats. I would consider buying right now if I could get the same here in Richmond, VA

Destination was included in final sale price.

I think it's really unfortunate that KIA is allowing the dealers to do as they please in marking up the MSRP. I know it is common practice on hyped up releases but in this case I think that it really hurts KIA to do this when they are trying to make a name for themselves in the near luxury segment. Just my 2 cents.

fully loaded Stinger GT2 Limited AWD ( middle east version ) 13500 KWD = 44700 USD

Congrats on the purchase!

Does your monthly lease payment of $678.80 include tax?

I am trying to get an idea of what's considered a good offer as I'm trying to negotiate with a dealership in Tacoma, WA for a GT1 AWD.

If I can't get a good deal I may have to contact Kia of Bellingham.

Yes, it is inclusive of tax. I would also look into leasehackr.com to calculate what you're comfortable with. I hope you get the deal you're looking for!

That's an awesome deal. Don't tell me you were able to get that price in an AWD.

I'd like to pay less than the MSRP here in the USA since our car seems to be missing some features. :)
