• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Stinger Insurance in Melbourne

G’day, welcome to the forum & to the Stinger Owners Fraternity, I see your age is listed at 47, if so why are your quotes so high, most of us older guys have paid around $800-$1200 for full comp.

I’m also with NRMA & it is also identical with lifetime 65% no claim & multi policy discount, except car hire, I strongly recommend to anyone who owns a Stinger to get windscreen as that sucker on the GT’s is expensive.

You're older and the West coast, there's got to be incentives to live there:laugh::laugh:

As much as that's funny, I've been looking for jobs there as housing and the cost of living in Sydney is driving me away. Don't get me started on the massive amounts of development (all current housing developments look terrible) and there's too many people coming in from overseas. I'm all for immigration, but this is unsustainable. I don't even recognise my area anymore. :(Perth looks absolutely lovely and if I find a good enough job.... I'm gone!

Hope that works out for you, but the downside is it’s a bit far to come on runs with us....:(

Insurance tip...When buying a new vehicle you should only insure for Market Value as just about all Insurer's these days provide new car replacement if a total loss within the first 2, 3 or even 5 years. After the replacement term is up change to Agreed Value. You will save a few dollars as AV carries a premium loading.

Mudgee was nice not your usual red necks. Very polite and friendly. Our thoughts were being a wine district the class of people may have been higher. Also the lowest crime rate in the state.

G'day guys, 1st post on this forum, picked up my MY19 GT on Tuesday, I've opted for a high excess of $1200, but that got the premium down to $522.00 with AAMI. Insured for $65000 as I got the bimodal included. I'm in Melbourne. Got lots of policies with them, don't know if it made any difference though.
