Honestly I find your posts here and on the Facebook threads really entertaining; what's that saying about giving someone enough rope?

If your logs were impressive, or existed in the first place, I'm sure you'd be loudly pushing them. Customers should be wary to run any flash tuning with such limited data provided. From what I've seen of your tunes posted I have a few concerns. But I also don't see the need to crawl around in the mud and clue you in to what they are.

Regarding Dragy it's an awesome tool, I think everyone should have one. Would you believe just months ago some idiots were posting speedo videos of their cars to make performance claims? lol.
Well, I have concerns also. But, we will let the numbers, speak for us.

Its good to hear you like Dragy, but... would you belive just a few months ago, someone didn't worry about fuel type, air temps and weight savings in the car :)

Terry, if it were so easy to beat our time from 5 months ago, whats the delay bud?

Tonka has shared our logs, so at this point, your "customers should be wary" of limited data is going to fall on deaf internet ears.
 
Here's what it boils down to. Terry likes to push buttons, he knows it, and it works in looking at the responses from John and TonkaBob. Your responses continue to fuel him no pun intended. Let your results speak for themselves. Once you have the fastest 60 foot, 0-60, 1/8, 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile there will be nothing left to be said. But in the end Terry will find something else to say as this is his style whether you like it or not, but once this has been accomplished in the back of Terry's mind he will know you won. In the end competition is good, this 1/4 mile thread is great, and posting times is fun and keeps everyone wanting to push the envelope that much more.
Couldn't agree more.

I honestly feel that we have won this round, but Terry continues to belittle and borderline attack others in this community. Nothing will every meet his criteria, because we are not running his product. Its sad when a community icon like Terry has to resort to calling members and his competition idiots (not directly calling us an idiot, but pretty damn close).

Tork Motorsports will buy a Dragy. Tork Motorsports will get some light weight wheels and drag radials... and, continue our quest to being the fastest RWD Stinger in the nation.

To be fair to get your time 5 months ago you took out 4 cats, removed mufflers, added intakes, and changed to a better FMIC. Terry added intakes and a water meth setup. I don't think this is a quest to the fastest car from everyone's perspective. I, for one, want to see proven performance, not peak numbers / times.

Tork Motorsports will buy a Dragy. Tork Motorsports will get some light weight wheels and drag radials... and, continue our quest to being the fastest RWD Stinger in the nation.
All else aside, I'm really looking forward to your times!

Agreed, we were heavily modded... but that mathanol goes a very long way in regards to performance on a GDI car. Lets not forget, that tune from 5 months ago didn't have the latest and greatest maps applied to it either. I bet there would have been another .2 possibly .3 taken off that time with the new maps.

From this point, we are going to let the numbers speak for us, because its obviously working.
 
Fooock I wish I lived I Florida I would take a vacation day and got the strip .... Tork when will you hot the dragstrip again ?? To see the new numbers and times especially for the awd wondering if you can get the awd on the 11’s??

When viewing JB4 logs in the mobile app interface you can pinch to zoom in and out, in the windows interface also can use the cursor to see the individual sample points. Maybe you spent $15 on your logging but it's a slow manual process doing what you're doing. The JB4 logs automatically to your phone in the back ground any time you're racing around. No need to set it all up ahead of time, and no need to format and prune it after. Overall logging is just a small fraction of what you can do on the JB4 mobile app but it's quite robust.

Regarding my logs in specific I think the phrase I was looking for above was you're acting willfully ignorant and best, disingenuous at worst. To say I'm running 20 degrees of timing and 19psi of boost when the log clearly shows otherwise for example, really tipped your hand. If you're dishonest about that frankly your credibility has taken a hit in my eyes, as I said before data is only as good as its source.

This is clearly 20 degrees of timing, as it is touching the line, and at least 18 psi.
I see someone else just called you out as a troll, so i can stop trying to advance the community and just post my fast times. Who does not see 20 afr and at least 18 lbs boost please raise your hand and be called dishonest. Nice.

There are 2 other cars with No cats, FMIC, Intakes, same setup as Tork and more but using JB4 and Lap3 Pro tuner and both are running 12.13.
Jessie P - Lap3 pro Map 3, Intake, FMIC, no cats,
KLR Stinger - JB4 map2, JT FMIC, Lap3 primary dp, Jun Bl Mid (no cats), Magnaflow Catback, Intakes, Velossa snorkels
 
Yea but that JB4 is on weaksauce map 2 lol. And yes Terry's log does show ~20 on ignition advance and ~18psi, but not at the same time. You can't just call out "n degrees of timing" and imply it's a bad thing without knowing the rest of the data at that same point in time.

I'm leaning towards "willfully ignorant" with him myself. For a guy who obviously spent a lot of time putting together spread sheets to try to prove to himself that his car is faster.. You'd think he'd have a better eye for attention to detail.

Terry when will you take the car to the strip .... not draggy times but the drag strip ?? And post actual times on map 2, map 3 and maybe test the wmi

Proof is in the dragy and later in the slips.
I didn't do analysis to prove I'm faster thats obvious, i did it to see why jb4s arn't faster and did figure that out.

I agree I really like the fact that Tork has actual times at the strip not draggy times .... that’s how it should be

I wish I had a dragstrip local, but all we have are 1/8 mile tracks. If anything the times will be faster at a real track for RWD cars than what we've been seeing from Dragy due to increased traction

Agree, the slips keeps the excuses and trolling to a minimum. 3 more months...
 
We are all caught up in the current mayhem so to speak, but it's always good to stop and reflect. I've attached data that R&T provided regarding their testing of a stock GT, RWD. Keep in mind these results are from a professional driver behind the wheel, under optimal conditions and probably took the best run from numerous runs. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm certainly know professional driver and my runs were under less than optimal conditions.

We are killing these numbers. As for performance mods I only have RC, plugs and race gas and even though my 0-60 numbers are on par my 1/4 ET/Trap speed are 0.5 seconds fast/3 mph faster. This shows my limited mods are working well as my car is producing significantly more top-end HP then the stock car and this feels good and I only spent $560 dollars for the chip and plugs. So much bang for the buck!

Something in the results I found interesting is that Maximum Boost Pressure shows as 17.2 PSI. I have discussed with multiple reputable sources that have shared MAX PSI is over 20, therefore if they are referring to the Max boost pressure seen during their testing runs then that is crazy high.

The 60 foot of 2.1s is slow. It appears the car had limited slip dif. My best 60 ft, when my car was all stock was 1.98 at the track.
