Anyone using tork or pressertech tunes?

How many miles have you logged on this tune? Any limp mode or spark plug issues? I have a jb4 but looking to do a full ecu tune and trying to decide which would add a nice balance of power and reliability.

Been running the ECU tune about 9 months and 7k miles. No limp mode or spark plug issues. I do have hks plugs. I started off with the normal tune but lately have been trying out some new changes he has been working on.

Very minimal. It still drones like an ark, 1600-1900 or 2000 but the drone is so mild volume wise its fine. I put a few strips of sound deadening in the trunk last week and that knocked it down even further. I don't like it loud and trying to see if i could get it quiet enough to maybe add a dp some day if needed.

i went ahead and bought the Flowmaster DBX mufflers last night.
My wife does not like the Ark, she actually told me to change it back to OEM yesterday.
Well that's not gonna happen, but i am hoping that swapping out to the Flowmaster DBXs will make it a little better.

Very cool. It makes a big difference and if you need more you can do sound deadening but probabaly wont need to.
Let me know how it goes. Its a tight squeeze but will fit with the drone tubes. Dbx is just a tiny bit bigger than the ark mufflers.

I already did the dynamat to the entire trunk including under the battery.

I didn't do much, may add more. This little bit made a difference. Pulled the back seat to have a look but didnt add any there.

Thats insane. You do love your ark. Someone said insulating under the seat does as much as the trunk area. But the dbx should do the trick. Dbx, trunk and under seats all cut volume by about 25% I suspect.

I bought the trunk kit. I used a little over 3 sheets in the trunk, and a little over 1 sheet under the back seats. So still have a half sheet left over. Drone was reduced by 30 to 40%, overall volume only by about 10% though. It's more for drone than volume reduction.

Dynamat Xtreme. You could get dynaliner for volume, but you will be adding a considerable amount of weight at that point. The Dynamat Xtreme trunk kit is roughly 9lbs if you use all 5 sheets, so that isn't really too bad

it took about 3~4 hours, but i took my time and enjoyed the experience.
I am thinking that the Flowmaster DBX should be the slight improvement that makes a big difference.

Tonk you made history (on draggy).....congrats.......now do that at the drag strip .....post a video and slip and then were talking business.....

Make sure the video has a Tonkabob watermark. And sign the slip, write your SSN on it, fingerprint the back, and leave a blood sample with Sal. Can't be too sure.

This was first run, no launch control map 2 ......best run was 12.3 using map 2 and launch control.....maybe I could do better on map 3 but im skeptical of pushing my car to that limit on piggyback without the proper fuel....no draggy LOL.....I feel i can be in 12-12.1 range on map 3 with good launch....still getting use to the car
