Getting ready to install the Jun B.L. downpipes. To be honest, I haven't even crawled under the car yet, so I expect it will be pretty straightforward.
But before I get under there and find something I was unprepared for: is there any type of gasket at either end/flange? Any idea of bolt torque? Anything else I'll run into?

Based on the other forums, gaskets are reusable? And basically as much torque as you can get, you won't overtorque them. Can anyone confirm?

there are 4 bolts 2 on top of down pipe , 2 on the bottom.....yo will need an extensions and you will be fine...gaskets are reusable and re use the oem bolts..torque with the same power it takes to get out....you do not have to remove the mid pipe....if your doing in a garage i would do one side at a time and make sure the car is properly secured if my memory serves me right the bolts are 19 mm....hope this helps

Bolts are 17... You'll need a breaker bar most likely to get them going. Take them both off before installing also.

I was able to back onto ramps and jack up each side then put one side on stands. Allowed me access to both sides without fear of dying a horrible crushing death.

And the cross brace is 6 bolts 14mm

Pretty sure the OEM bolts are 19mm..let us know lol
Also in addition to extension, a wobbly may be useful for the upper bolts.
An impact vs just hand tools will make it so much easier.
Just make sure gasket and the flanges mate evenly. The aftermarket flange will probably a bit wider vs oem.
I used 80ftlbs..... 60 may be sufficient I just did what I thought made sense

Am I missing something here? It looks like mine doesn't have bolts on the flanges. The cross support does, but mine only has nuts on the flanges that thread onto a stud that is tapped directly into the OEM flanges. I can re-use the uppers as they're part of the primary cat, and stay on the car. The lower studs come off with the secondary downpipe, and I couldn't reuse them even if I could get them unthreaded from the flange, the Jun BL isn't tapped for them. It would make sense if my pipes came with 2 bolts per piped, but I didn't receive any?

Got it all finished, this is what I discovered: 2 nuts at the top flange of each downpipe are 19mm. 2 nuts at the bottom flange of each downpipe are 19 mm. 6 bolts across the cross brace are 14 mm. When installing the downpipes, you will reuse the upper 19mm nuts on each side, and the two middle 14mm bolts on the cross brace. Provided with the downpipe (in the case of Jun B.L.), are four 14mm nut/bolts for the cross brace, and four 14mm (2 each side) nut/bolts for the bottom flange of each downpipe. I used an impact gun and torqued them down pretty tight, no stripping out and no leaks.

Did you take it on a spin? How'd you like the sound

I would say it's about what I expected, and good enough for me. At an idle, it's just slightly louder, but definitely has a deeper tone. Hit the gas and again, it's definitely louder than before. Otherwise, not obnoxious and no drone. No noticeable difference while cruising. I'm hoping I pick up some hp, mainly.

In the middle of installing ark-any way to remove stock without taking apart midpopes?

I did mine last week. Get a lift. Even with a lift it was a pain.

Extensions, and a basic socket set and you'll be done in an hour (lift time).

Thanks -already in the middle. Do I need to remove midpipes to remove and replace the downpipes. Shoulda gone to a shop for the lift

Had ARK secondary downpipe put on while I didn't do it I did watch took him 30 min once it was up on the lift. 2 bolts up top 2 at mid pipe for each side. He did losen the cross brace made it easier to get the pipes out midpipe doesn't have to be removed.

If I remember correct beside the 2 up top and 2 at midpipe there were 2 on the bracket for each pipe and then the bracket I think had 2.

Here pictures help, sorry I don't have a picture of the top guess I didn't take one. My pipes came with a metal gasket that he put at the midpipe and just reused the one that was up at the primary downpipe that you can't see in this picture.

Perfect! Thank you. All bolts removed, just can’t get the OEM pipes off. Did he just hammer the OEN bolts off?

He did a little prying to get things loss but no hammering looks like you got it though.

Well-all good! Holy crap!

You absolutely did! Here’s the thing: I have the TubiStyle EXCU mid/exhaust. It sounded really good in all four valve modes. Now, I hate to say this, but the car sounds like an Italian exotic — TUBI used an adaptation of their Ferrari 599 exhaust. I will get some video tomorrow. Also, and it could be placebo, but there seems to a more responsive throttle and pull harder to redline. Finally, less drone for some reason.
Thanks!
