What did you pay for your Kia Stinger?

I haven't paid yet but yesterday here in the US the Build your own option is live. GT2 with AWD and most of the options came to roughly $53k Silky Silver with red nappa is my first choice and the deep chroma blue is my second choice. Going to the dealer today to do the paperwork for the build.
Keep us posted. Make sure they're as committed to giving you the color you want before committing on your end. As far as I know, Deep Chroma Blue won't be available in the U.S. for a while. I don't think it was in the first batch of deliveries here...

Deep Chroma isn't on the available list. So I listed Silky Silver as my first choice and Ceramic Grey as the 2nd choice. The hard part for my order is going to be having to wait till they bring that color in with the 18" wheels with all weather tires. Only a small percentage of those that came in the first wave had 18" wheels and that first batch was all Red Stingers. It was like just a tad over 1% came in with that option.

Go with the Silky Silver, fit for a King...but I am biased. Pictures of colour do not do it justice once you see it in the flesh (steel) you will be hooked.

Not a purchase (yet) but, got this money factor and residual for a GT2 via email from a dealer.

Nvrmnd, just saw the post with all the lease info direct from Kia. They quoted 49k net cap with zero down, which I thought was missing the lease cash, after reading more posts here wondering if they are just marking it up.

Got a quote from a dealer in Phoenix area, they're quoting MSRP (46275 on a GT1 with the advanced driver package) - 5400 lease cash so 40875 net cap. But payment of 710 with 2k down, so they must be juicing the money factor pretty hard rather than marking up the cost. Puts it at like 10% APR if I'm doing my math right. For an 800+ FICO.

Jeez yeah they are screwing you.

With your numbers (40875 sales, 2000 down payment), I'm calculating a MF of 0.00444(!!) for a no-tax payment of $710. This is an APR of 10.66%.

For a payment of $710 that includes 9% taxes on payments, you are looking at a MF of .00351. This is an APR of 8.42%.

A couple of numbers I assumed: Residual - 52% (normal is 53% but 1% reduced for 12k miles/year. Doc fee - 80. Acquisition Fee - 595 (rolled into payments) - 595. License+registration - 400.

Either way- ask them for a detailed breakdown of costs associated with the lease, stressing that both the MF and residual should be clearly documented. If they aren't willing to do that, go to another dealership.

Oh yes that stopped me dead in my tracks. I told them I was fine paying MSRP, but their MF was way off. Just a creative way to rake in some more profit, which someone not familiar with leases might bite on. Not me.

Yeah, you're getting shafted on that. I just closed on a Stinger GT2 spec with $1300 down (+ first months payment) for $695/mo (out the door) 36mo 12k/yr lease terms.

However, from what I've heard (and my own experience) a lot of dealers are trying every trick in the book to make more profit on their first cars. In my case it took SEVEN back and forths (and 3 hours) for them to finally give me what I came in for, which was basically just the Kia factory deal. I suspect some dealers would have held out anyway for more profit. The initial offer they gave me was over $1K/mo for a 36mo lease (with $1K in ADM, which I specifically asked about before driving to this dealership, as two other local dealers I contacted had ADMs of $3K and $5K respectively. This dealer said no ADM, then tried to sneak it in on the initial offer sheet). I've bought/leased a lot of cars, and this is the first time I actually laughed at the salesman's offer (then proceeded to tell him I could walk next door to the BMW dealer and drive off in a well equipped M3 at that payment).

Good luck dealing. You might have to work for this one.

Here's what I paid for my Stinger in Korea.

I got the 2.0T RWD, Platinum trim (should be similar to the Premium trim), brown interior, Deep Chroma Blue = KRW 37,800,000 (~35k USD).
The only additional option extra is the sunroof = KRW 900,000 (~850 USD).
Destination = KRW ~300,000 (~270 USD).
Registration (I believe this includes road tax) = KRW ~2,800,000 (~ 2,650 USD).

(discounts) KRW ~2,500,000 (~ 2,400 USD) as cashback from Hyundai Credit Card + some M-points (Hyundai credit card points) + a bit of Red-points (Kia's membership points). I can use these points as discounts for servicing the car, valet parking at some shopping malls, and at gas stations.

(extras) free full-HD dashcam, windows tint, and paint coating.

free full-HD dashcam,

What type of dash cam was that? Kia don't provide one here as an option so I assume it's an after market add on?

Myself paid $NZ 71000 ( USD 46860 ) fully loaded GT with rubber mats and mud flaps in Pearl White and includes all taxes and on road charges. Unfortunately NZ and Australia have been stuck with inferior Continental tyres instead of Michelin Pilot and I don't get the car for another 8 weeks..

Yeah, the dash cam was from the dealer not from Kia. It's the Z100 by iNavi - I really don't know much about the model, haven't found many reviews about it online either. I think it's an older model by iNavi. Since it's what the dealer had and it seems to be okay - I didn't ask much about it.

It's a dual-camera setup, front Full-HD, HD in the rear, motion sensor, automatic shut off at low voltage, and all the feathers - I haven't had the chance to see the recordings on my big screen yet, but hope to get the time to play with it in the coming days. I am probably not the right guy to any advice on dash cams.

Interestingly, the dealer told me there are no rubber mats available for the Stinger yet from Kia. There's really not many accessories out there for the Stinger at the moment - hope people start making them soon though.

That's kinda interesting as the dealer here has the mats but no cars until Jan (except for the cronies on the A list) and you have cars but no mats. WTF? Guess you got the better deal. Oh well, I can still throw the mats on the ground and make vroom vroom sounds until next year sometime!

What dealer did you purchase through bruv? I got mine a month ago.

Did you order the bi-modal exhaust also? I get that fitted in January.

Getting mine from Giltrap North Shore. Even Kia website say no delivery until Jan but that's OK with me as mine is special order without sunroof. They wouldn't give any back on the sunroof so I won't spring for the bi-modal for what the rebate on the expensive sunroof should have mostly covered.

Glad you have scored your car but surprised any were around quite this soon. I ordered in September.

I feel sorry that you had to deal
With Giltrap mate. I got all my Holden’s from there but with Kia they were crap. I’d been talking to Sandy since January about it. They wouldn’t do a thing on the price and just kept say January all the time when there were always cars to sell from the first shipment. Just a terrible experience really and I’ll never use them again. So anyway, I went to West City. Got one from the first shipment and got a good discount below rrp.

I had no choice but it is not what it sounds really. As part of an out of court settlement deal on my Volvo which is still with me but being bought back by them (Giltrap Group who own Volvo NZ and the other dealer ASR I bought it from) I purchased the Stinger only from them and negotiations quite reasonably were on the max RRP. None of us wanted to go to the tribunal and Giltrap certainly did not have a car they could offer. We struck an equitable deal but nevertheless full RRP was what I paid less a very substantial amount for the Volvo plus full use of it until the Stinger arrives. It was Kia who would not rebate on the sunroof just like Porsche who rebate nothing. Giltrap have been totally up front with me and they sure would rather have my Volvo back soonest as it gets more kms and ages by the day. Don't know how West City could offer a discounted car so early let alone supply it but good for you Skyguy and sorry you had a less than satisfactory dealing with Giltrap..

3 dealers in my vicinity. One had 10k markup, the others 5k and 0k. Haggled with the 10k markup (they had the model i wanted) and got them down to $51,400 usd for a gt1 black/red interior with a few "factory installed" extras. Took a few days but i think they really wanted to get that first one out the door. Btw, this car is amazing (been driving a corolla for the last 10 years)
