Well fellow Stinger lovers, I just spoke to my local dealership, Greenville SC. They are getting 5 cars, 1 in each trim and pricing is... Base $37,500, Premium $42,700.

As some guessed they are selling above msrp bc of its limited availability now.

Disappointed but not surprised. They just received this info today so your area may have pricing also. Love to hear what you find out in your city.

Don't worry. Most people here don't really care about overpriced stinger because they know for sure 360 camera will hesitate them to buy. Let's wait next year model.

How much over MSRP? I'd like to list there here:

Well that $5600 over msrp definitely puts me out and my car is old so I'll probably go ahead and purchase another car around he holidays to actually get a good deal.

Yeah, I might be out too. I don't want to pay MSRP as it is. My car is old as well. Not sure if it will make it until Kia gets its act together.

Supply and demand Econ 101. I will not consider going north of the MSPR. A real turn off.

Inifiniti is dealing...you can get a really nice trimed out 2017 Q50 Red Sport for mid 40s plus.

The Q50 is on my short list, going to test drive a few trims tomorrow. I've driven the Hybrid Sport which was really nice but concerned about Infiniti reliability. Looking at that, Acura Tlx v6 and Lexus IS 350 now.

That sucks

I'd like to know what you think about these cars - especially the Acura TLX - which I find to be the worst candidate for your approval since it's more or less a Honda Accord V6 Touring, which I have, and feels nothing like the Infiniti Q-Series or Lexus IS...

Hey BAM. I’ve owned a G35X for 10 Years now. Simply awesome vehicle. Little issues other than standard maintenance. That is why I am struggling with going to KIA vs. Infiniti.

Yesterday afternoon a KIA dealership near my home had a sample Stinger available for a look see. It could not be taken out on the road as it was not approved for road use? Apparently, the vehicle ownership was that of KIA Motors USA. The car looks as good as you see on the internet. I guess the proof is in the pudding. In two weeks the dealership said the units should arrive. KIA Motors America, indicated in a sales memo that the order mix for the upper Midwest will be heavy for the Stinger Premium and GT model, less than 18% for the Stinger or GT1&2 models. Therefore, the pricing model for GT1 and more importantly the GT2 will be tight.

Yes, that's a South Korean model and cannot be sold or driven on the streets...

I saw a pretty sweet one in Tucson, AZ, I wonder what they will do with those once they are done displaying?
I heard though it’s hard to believe is that they crush them, i.e., shred them. Sounds crazy enough to be true.

I wonder if they'll get treated as "gently" as unwanted BMWs?

Well that’s one way to keep the prices high.

If anyone is in need to buy a new car now and a stinger is your choice that mark up is going to steer you away. Just like myself I am not interested in paying msrp for the gt2 and definitely not over. . I think they priced it too high.

Based on kia depreciation levels to me its a hard sell. I don't want my car to be worth nothing 6+ years from now. I generally keep my cars for 6-10 years.

Then considering certain options are not available in the u.s. and your forced to take certain packages for a few features you want. Like why is blind spot not standard. Ventilated seats only on gt2. Shift by wire only gt2. Some things that turn me off how they set up the features on the stinger.

With this launch it has me back on the drawing board. Looks like ill be forced to do the required maintenance on my current car thats coming due and wait longer.
