My full concentration was on my "spirited" driving. Lol. My brother in the passenger seat said, "That, was a cop!" I looked in the rearview and he lit up and I pulled over instantly. My demeanor and my new car saved me. Also, he must have been having a good day.

I pass them all the time, if they're cruising in a lane to the right. Out on the highway, they're not looking for the guy going 10 over safely moving thru traffic. At least the state patrol. Local cops looking for revenue might be different.

Oh yeah. And for most of its length it is double yellow lined. That passing spot was rare and very short; thus my burst of speed to get around. The police vehicle was an SUV and not very clearly marked from the rear. But my brother saw "POLICE" very clearly on his side.

Picked up my daughter at daycare today...All the moms and dads are dying to know what kind of car it is (debadged)...a little boy was sitting out front with his grandma and as I was walking out she says my grandson wants to know what kind of car is that? I said a Kia Stinger...she says to him, see I told you it’s not a Lamborghini

today i went to get in n out. as i was leaving pulled up to the light there was a new Mercedes-Benz prob a c300 didn't care to much about. WE both had our windows down looked at each other, nothing yet. As soon as it went green i floored it. Next light was red pulls up and gets my attention to ask me "what new maserati is that i have never seen it" haha i was like thanks for compliment but its a stinger!

Had a bunch of people giving compliments on the car and color when I was at the car wash. Spoke to an older guy that is looking at getting one and wanted to know how it was. He's waiting for his Lexus lease to be up first. This car pulls a lot of luxury buyers, KIA needs to move this car to their Luxury line and provide treatment like they do for the K900. They should also get sales folks dedicated to selling this and their other top end cars and add in more features like an app based remote start.

Yesterday, I helped my son and daughter-in-law move their stuff from a storage unit to their new home. As we finished up, one of the other two guys helping said: "What car is that?" I enjoyed yet another time of saying, "It's the new Kia, the Stinger." And I pointed to the hubcaps where KIA is still plainly visible. He was amused when I said that I put "K" overlays on the front and rear badges just so I could mess with people. "That sure is a very pretty car," he said. You can tell when people who ask about it are impressed by it.

On the way home today i decided to pull over and get my auto andriod working, plugged the cable in looked up and a middle aged guy steps in front of my idling car and snaps away using his phone. I looked up in shock and mustered a smile for the front on one. He didnt bat an eyelid, he then went back inside the offices. How bizzare.
