Metallic red cars are usually wrong, but KIA did it right with the Hichroma Red. Looks good day and night, just bright enough to not be over the top, just deep enough to say I’m high class.

Thanks! I wish my mom would have taught us Korean. I’m a little surprised by the looks and attention. I’m not vane but I enjoy it. Was afraid I’d lose that after trading in my Yellow GT350 which always drew a crowd. So glad I didn’t lose the swag 100%.

A couple bikers pull up beside you at 65mph and give you a thumbs up and shake their heads.

You are in the parking lot with your smoking hot woman and two guys approach and their attention is solely on the car.

When you get more compliments about the Stinger in a month than you did with the Tesla in two years.

When the lawn guy sees the car and then comes back the next week with dozens of pictures and specs about the Stinger GT2

Sitting at BKing, watching people look the car over while walking in. Rebadged not showing manufacturer, listening to gossip while they order...then priceless staring so hard; walking into the front door.

Mine got at lot of attention at Caffeine and Octane yesterday. I got there early to park in "Show Central" near the main BMW section, and ended up between some Nissan GTRs. Obviously those popular, but not unknown, so many people walking by would stop and look at mine, and then walk around the back to see what it is. Also saw a lot of interest in the interior.

Later I pulled out a folding chair and sat nearby, behind it, and it was fun to listen to the comments as people came behind to look, or even just walking by going to another section. Every time I went to the car to get water, a snack, the chair, someone walked over and started chatting. A couple of times, I also volunteered it was mine to some of those making comments, several were BMW leasers who were already considering the Stinger.

Does not look out of place, I think..

just happened to me yesterday, walked out of Home Depot and there were two guys just standing around my car talking about it. One of the guys that worked there said "man nice car, all the car guys in the store have come out to look at it".

Think that would ever happen with a BMW 340 or an Audi A/S5? Heck no. Hard to believe so many guys are ogling a KIA! haha

I have had three officers pull me over, two for going too fast (warnings only) and one for passing him going down a canyon (legal spot, but over the speed limit, aaagain). I was warned, twice, "Never pass a cop", and he was very insistent and nice about it; didn't even ask to see my driver's licence. Well! By then I was convinced that the cops simply wanted to look my still very uncommon car over.
