Damn kids! Back in my day we didn't have TV's to watch some fancy schmancy Waterford crystal ball drop at midnight. Mother would give us an old dried-up potato to throw in the air and we'd watch it land in the mud.. and we were glad to have it!

Lucky you - a chance at the potato! I had three sisters AND 7 little brothers. Mom, Dad, and the 11 of us lived under a folded-up newspaper in the middle of the street. And nobody complained! Unless it rained.
