So I had a set of winter wheels with snow tires on them that were from a WRX premium, they are 18's (245/40R18)
They have a little more sidewall than my stinger since it has 19's but according to the tire sizing the actual diameter is within a few tenths of an inch.
as far as I can tell the bolt pattern is the same, but the center cap diameter is different

The center bore doesn't actually do anything other than help pilot the wheels on the hub right?
Anybody know if I could run these on my stinger, obviously understanding that clearing the brembos is first and foremost?

If the wheels have a smaller hub bore than the kia you'll have a problem :)

Need to confirm diameter, offset, bolt hole pattern and hub bore for proper fitment.

I believe the hub is there to center the wheel. On aftermarket wheels you use hub centric rings to achieve this as most aftermarket wheels have larger than oe diameter holes.

Also, you will need proper lug nuts for the wheels in use.

18s CAN fit - I went down to 18s with my Enkeis. However, Subaru wheels usually have less offset than Stinger wheels (I see ET+15 or ET+20, whereas my 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 wheels are ET+35).

If I understand correctly, this will lead to a wider overall track (i.e. the wheels will stick out more than OEM). Maybe ask one of the wheel people on here (getyourwheels or fitmentindustries, IIRC).

yeah I was thinking offset was a variable. I think the wrx ones are 55mm but I'm having a tough time finding out what my stinger offset is

Stinger front wheels are 34 offset; rear are 46.5 offset. A 55 will rub if it will turn at all. :P You'd be needing spacers.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Offset is a funny thing. It's the distance from the wheel's center to the hub mounting surface.

The smaller the number, the closer the hub is to the center of the wheel. When placed onto a hub designed for a higher offset, the wheel, as mentioned by turboAWD above, will stick further out. This is because the hub itself in such a scenario is further out and the gap between wheel center line and mounting point is small.

I think I found a person selling some WRX wheels and tires on craigslist, but the offset wasn't listed and I never heard back when I asked. 55 offset definitely will not work. Basically, the rear wheel well has plenty of space and wheels can go wider towards the inside of the car just fine. The front on the other hand is very limiting, there is very little space for the wheel/tire to go further towards the inside of the car. I have just a few mm between the strut and the rim on my 18.5s. It's enough, but it's close enough that I wouldn't want it any closer. 35mm offset.

Stock front offset is 34mm on 18s. I'd think that with bigger rim, like 19, you could go with a little more offset, since the point at which it would touch the strut is higher and at that point the strut is a little further away, but we are talking very tight clearances all around. This is definitely stuff you'd want to try before you buy (but not 55, that won't work).
