General Vodka? Why you don’t speed? 140 in a Honda wagon? Lucky it didn’t shake apart. The Stinger is made to go fast. Honda wagon is made for lots of soccer balls.
Sorry if your dad didn’t hug you.
Lol my dad did in fact hug me. He also told me I could get any car I want, as long as I paid for it and the insurance. So here I am, younger than your son but with a gt2 that I paid for myself. And guess what, I did drive it on the snow and ice and it's not rolled over. And yeah, I did take it over the speed that I took my Honda wagon. That just proves my point, he has little respect for daddy's money. A hybrid should have been the first choice and not a stinger.
I started working at 9 washing pots in a Restaraunt. Did very well over the years and I was able to afford to give each a new car of their choice and pay their tuition and living expenses. Two engineers and a doctor I would say was pretty good. The older boy had some medical issues so it’s taking a little longer.
I apologize if My hard work resulted in making a good living and you find that offensive. They got part time jobs but the courses they took require full attention.
I thought I was in a stinger forum. Stinger not meant to go fast? I think it is. I’ve had Corvette’s, BMW, Mercedes SL55 and some muscle cars and I think the Stinger performed as well as all of them. Don’t understand that comment.
The Stinger isn't an all out performance/sports car. Hence the 4dr and only 365hp. Pretty sure they tried to make it a good all around performance car at a price point that was less than the German's. It's a grand touring it's supposed to be decently quick, not sports car or supercar fast, have good handling and the main key, it's supposed to do all that and be comfortable as well. Most sports or muscle cars can't do all those things while costing 50k or lower.

Who cares how people spend their money on their family.
Yes, I would LOVE to have been given a $50k car for my 22nd birthday but whatever. I worked at Tesla for a year and you would not believe the insane entitlement I witnessed firsthand. I saw an 18 year old get a $120k Model X for her birthday. I saw a 24 year old get a $165 Model S as a daily driver because "he got too many speeding tickets" in his 458 which was a hand-me-down from his father after his father picked up a 488. I could go on and on. Who cares. It doesn't matter.
We all come from a different place. My parents came to this country less than 30 years ago and we are living a thousand times better than 99% of the rest of the people from our home country. My parents worked so hard and sacrificed just for us to have a chance here. Be grateful to have a place to live and food to eat. I count my blessings daily just to be where I am today. It meant the world to me when my dad said how proud he was when I "made it" in my mid/late 20's in this country.
Anywayz... everyone has a story...
Everyone makes mistakes. Yes, his son might have been speeding or not driving properly, but we have all made those poor decisions. His son is alive and that is all that matters.
To the OP - I must have missed it - but did you sell the salvaged Stinger? What is the story of the car?
