It's cold up here in Canada, and the turbos produce a literal cloud of exhaust when pulling rapidly off the line. Since I've never experienced it as the follow on driver, I'm trying to figure it if it's something that other drivers would consider offensive.

I created a poll, but also interested in your candor on the subject.

It's going to mostly be condensation, isn't it? Not stinky, gassy smoke, after all. Heh.

It's a Stinger... you are going to leave most cars in the dust!!!!:rofl::rofl:

Ya but THEY don't necessarily know that.

If they can't smell it, it ain't an issue. You know that, and "they" should.:) Of course, you COULD leave off engaging the turbos during the winter except under extreme duress: i.e. you MUST accelerate for whatever reason, even if it's only been too long since the last time.

For the record, I knew I was going to get roasted for this question :D

No honestly, exhaust condensation is not offensive haha. Rolling coal is, like those Western Canadians do with their big turbo diesel trucks, but that's totally different.

Yup. Rolling coal is straight up obnoxious. And I bet granny thinks the white exhaust cloud is obnoxious too haha.

At -35°C there's not much choice in the matter short of buying a Tesla.

I do it all the time, but since all of the other cars are going so slow, it doesn't really affect them :p
