I have owned my new 2019 GT2 AWD for two weeks and discovered a wind noise coming from the front passenger door. When I pull on handle from the inside to pull the door harder close the wind noise goes away. I have my first oil change tomorrow so I will address this with them. Any thoughts what it could be?

Door hinges out of alignment. Maybe loose. A while back, someone here showed a pic of their door so out of alignment that the trim was hitting and where it met at the top it was a quarter inch out!? The dealer fixed it, iirc, and no further issues.

That’s a great thought for sure. I was thinking either something like that or the latch not being aligned properly so it’s not closing right. I looked at the weather stripping and it looked good and on place. Thanks for the suggestion I will let them know what “we” think it could be lol

I took it in yesterday and the techs couldn't replicate the noise, but then I leave and get 2 blocks away and hear it. I turn around and go back to tell them. They are ordering a new seal/gasket set so we will see what happens when it comes in.

Well, I say superb! Double fun that we were right!:thumbup:

When I first got mine I noticed some wind noise on the drivers door then I notice the spacing when the door was closed was off. I took it in and they adjusted it and it looks good now but I swear it feels like my door drops down a little when I open it

Howdy, @stoneghost. How long have you had your Stinger?

Maybe the latch needs adjusting since the door was aligned properly. Welcome to the forum.

I had the same problem in my 2020 Stinger, except on the drivers side. 3,500 miles. Began intermittent, then became a guarantee. No noise until above 60 MPH or so, then constant "flapping" type noise in driver door, close to where the window meets the edge of the door. Dealer replaced weather stripping on both the driver (and passenger door as preventative) and the problem went away.

* I posted this comment to reinforce others on their hopes to fix the issue as I used this thread to help fix mine*

Welcome, Ross. A first post that helps out is a top grade "intro".
