^^^Use longer "tent pegs", something fashioned out of rebar seems doable.
If it’s going to be on the concrete driveway, maybe concrete anchors. No one would likely notice them and you could easily fill them in when you move.^^^How do those fasten to the earth? That's the only potential wrinkle in that very affordable, practical .

We get serious accumulation a few times a year and any canvas or tarp is likely going to split once it freezes. (Trust me, I’ve already had snow ruin one pavilion we set up on the back porch!)
