Sorry for the newb question, just prefer to have it answered by people who know what they're talking about.

I have a 23 GT-Line AWD. 18" stock rims currently.

Will these work? optionlabwheelsdotcom/product-page/r716-gotham-black

Will they work with the stock Bridgestone tires?

Also, how can I tell what tires fit that wheel? Again, sorry for the newb question. I'd love to use Continental DWS06+ on those wheels.

What size rims?

The correct tire sizes are listed on the door sticker..

Are you significantly changing the width of the rim?

Sorry, thought I included enough info. Isn't the tire size based on the rim size?

So I guess what I'm asking is, let's say I want that rim for sure. Here are the options:
Available Bolt Pattern:

5x100 | 5x108 | 5x112 | 5x114.3

Available Size:

18x8.5 | 18x9.5

Of those, do any

1) Work for the 23 Stinger GT-Line AWD (I believe the 5x114.3 18x8.5 is what I'd need, but am looking for clarity)
2) Also work for the DWS06+? I know the stock rims don't, but I am curious if I can get a version of this rim that both works on the car and with the tire.

I'm confused at the moment of how to figure out tire size from the specs listed for the wheel, since the tire size specs are a different format (for example, 225/45 R18).

Looking to be educated here for sure.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I understand you're only asking questions, and I think you are clouding your question with confusion...

What do you mean by this specific model of tire won't work with the stock rim? Any brand of tire will work with any brand of rim!

If you buy an 18" rim that is 8.5 inches wide...
You need an 18" tire that is approximately 8.5" wide

8.5" is ~216mm

A 225mm wide tire will "fit" (there is some play here)- you.can use even wider if you wish. Depends on what "look" you are going for.

The stock size for a Kia Stinger with 18" wheels is 225/45 r18
You can use wider tires as well. It's more of a personal preference

I gotcha. What I meant is, I suppose, is that TireRack etc show that Continental DWS06+ as *not* working with my stock rims. Is that wrong?

So my goal if possible was to pick out a version of this OptionLab rim that would work with the car AND the tire.

Would I go with the 8.5" or 9.5"? Since 9.5" is ~241mm, that's closer to 245 than 216mm is to 225... seems like it would work?

I don't know what I'm doing, basically.

There is lots of "wiggle" room when fitting tires to rims.

225, 235, 245, even 255, wide tires can all fit on 8.5" rims.

As a general guide..

Also use a tool like this

To compare overall wheel size. It's "good" to stay "close' to original overall diameter - to keep speedo close to accurate - but again, lots of wiggle room.

The profile (225/45 r18) - also, there is some wiggle room. Taller profile is preferred by some, lower profile is preferred by others.

And after all this, we haven't even touched on offset yet., I believe stock wheels are +34 offset on an 8.0" wide wheel with 18"

Can you screenshot this? What do they mean, will not working?

Upon further thought, it is possible the tires that you were looking for, had two small of a load index to support the weight of your stinger.

I think the door placard says that a load index of 95 or higher is recommended for the 18-in wheels
