• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Rumours have been running hot for a while now as to whether there will be a new generation Stinger or not. Just read this article about another rumour that the Stinger and Genesis G70 may be dropped due to the COVID-19 crisis. Budget cuts and Kia focusing on SUVs may spell the end for our beloved Stinger. Only time will tell.

The Next-Generation Kia Stinger Could Be In Trouble

The global economies are in free-fall. It should hit bottom sometime in the next 3-6 months. Nobody KNOWS how much collateral damage they'll be but one thing is for sure: The car companies were in trouble BEFORE the insanity struck and are always first on the front lines when recessions hit. This one looks to be a doozy.....game changer.

Yes agreed. They just don't sell enough of these type of cars to warrant the money developing them. The big money is SUVs and that is where their focus will have to be due to dwindling sales. Having said that, in Australia. Kia is still in the positive when it comes to sales unlike almost every other car maker whose sales have fallen off a cliff.

Like I said, 3-6 months before the full extent of these disastrous choices are seen.

The K900 is a dog day sales keeper. Why? I think that there are car enthusiasts at Kia; or else they would not have hired Biermann, et al. away from the "Germans"; to create the Stinger literally from the ground up, dream, concept to production reality. It makes no sense in this crossover, SUV mad world. But Kia did it anyway. And they (H/K/G group) have already pushed the G80 another bomb seller, so they're not getting rid of that. The Stinger is no G70, K900, G80 competitor: it is uniquely attractive to car enthusiasts, and was intended to be from the beginning: made by car enthusiasts.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
