So we’re off shopping this morning. Traffic is stopped ahead so I’m slowing down. As I do so I notice a bloke going the other way, already stopped, scoping out the Stinger. We pull up along side each other and sure enough he sticks his head out the window and says “nice car”. We have a quick chat then traffic starts moving again and off we go. Now I know this has happened to all of us countless times but this was the first time it’s happened while my wife was in the car with me. She was super impressed about the Stinger receiving such attention. She was even more impressed when I told her the other guy was driving a Mercedes!

Yeah, I've had a lot of people speed up, tail me a while (no Kia badge on the back of mine, just the bigger "Stinger" chrome logo), pull up just off my left rear fender, then blow past me and move on down the road.

I absolutely love it. Love talking to the people who pull up next to me about my stinger and their car in some cases too. My wife is South Korean and couldnt believe a Kia gets this much attention until the other day, when 8 bikers passed us on the Freeway and two slowed down checking the car out and gave us the thumbs up and just 2 mins later a guy in a BMW pulled up next to us at the lights and asks “What kind of car is that”. Makes my day everytime!

This is our first car in 40 years of being together that my wife actually loves & gets enthused about, she even follows Stinger/GT owners clubs on FB & shows me items even before I see them here.
I also might add it was with her encouragement that we bought the car.
