Wife hit my car, now my tire won't hold air pressure

You just reminded me that my GF did this a long time ago, backed into my car (Civic) in exactly the same manner. That's a memory I'm glad to have fresh next time she bitches about anything driving related. lol

I never let any woman drive my car let alone my wife.
I was going to correlate that wife's inability to back up a car with the damaged REAR tire but.... I'm too much of a gentleman for that.

Years ago, the girl I was dating got excited when I showed up in a new camaro. Not so excited when she realized it had 3 pedals and had to be shifted manually. No cookie for her.

This thread makes me feel lucky. My wife is a great driver.

I'm the opposite. Makes me pretty happy I'm separated (might as well be divorced). My ex tortures vehicles. Her last car, before trading it in went through all 4 wheel bearings, 3 (technically 6 as both swapped) front drive shafts, 2 AC compressors (she runs the AC constantly even when not needed), torque converter (because she never "had time" to have me rotate her tires...subaru AWD)...I'm sure there's more but I'm drawing a blank. That was in 140,000 miles of owning the car. Not my problem anymore!

Sucks you had to go through that man. But like you said, not your problem anymore. :)

If anything my wife is overly cautious if I had to find a fault. She pays close attention to her surroundings, she focuses on the road, she doesn't drive distracted, she doesn't move until she's reasonably sure she's safe, et al. If something looks or sounds off she has me look at it when it happens or takes it in. Like me, she takes care of her ride like it was her firstborn (even though the bloodline ends with us), but unlike me, she doesn't drive it like she stole it ;).

Like I said, I consider myself lucky. I trust her driving my car; she'd just much rather drive her's (and vice-versa).

Update: Finally got it all checked out, I was using a friends air compressor to keep up with the PSI loss every 2 days. Would go from 35 to 27 in a 2 day span. They found a tiny piece of metal jammed into my tire that for the life of me would have never seen. $10 fix. My wife must have ran over that piece of metal at work then proceeded to come home and crash her car into my car, that she had parked. Still love her tho.

Talk about coincidence.
