Why Jeep keeps on keeping on

Yes, legend in his own lunchtime, but one day he’ll fix this up to look just like a 911.

I have to run now, my chopper is warming up on the pad to take me to my private jet so I can get to my island in the South Pacific in time for Christmas.

Is your chopper painted "Look At Me Because I'm Lonely" Yellow?

This is some cool video of the G L A D I A T O R

I still like the HSV Maloo R8. Such a shame it will never be officially sold in the US.
As previously stated here, my daughter & partner just left my place, so I thought you might like this, it’s a beast.344AE2C7-6161-474E-B403-BC6C843567CD.webp5DA98002-590F-469F-8DE3-8B729E4A2D78.webp A167FC2C-5A90-4EC5-926E-A123171FE3BA.webpBE42F787-742F-450E-86A8-D52CC3FBD6D1.webp

First jeep I was in was a 1946 Willys. About 1975. My bro-in-law paid a couple hundred for it. My back is still sore, but that little thing (50hp?) could pull stumps. Off-road-wise, jeeps have been down hill since. Too long, too low, and generally under-powered. Last 20 years - a joke. Completely overpriced ($80K for a freakin' Grand Cherokee?!? Ha!). Plus, the only off-roading most will ever do is backing over the wife's flower garden.

What is THAT? Did someone bring the El Cameno back? It's very cool, actually. IMHO.
It’s the iconic Aussie Ute, they never went away down here this is the VF HSV Maloo R8, 6.2litre 6 speed manual, it is essentially all Corvette running gear under a Ute body it was made by Holden Special Vehicles, performance division of General Motors Holden Australia.

Wow! I think it's very cool. Back in the '70's, there were some hot Ford Ranchero's and Chevy El Camino's around (a high-school buddy had one), but even then they were "unusual". I was surprised to see your pics. It's like some auto-engineer surfer-dude from the '70's kept the body alive!

Hahaha, well this was the work truck of a nation since it was invented by an Aussie in the 30’s. Just google Australian Ute also google the Deniliquin Ute Muster, largest gathering of utes (pickups) in the world

I just played chasey with an R8 sedan for a while up the Bruce Highway on my way up to Rockhampton to visit family for Christmas. Every overtaking lane he’d light it up and I was right up his clacker. He had the legs of me but not by as much as you’d expect given his specs. Got some beaut dash cam video which I’ll post when I work out how to do it. Might have to try and mask the speed readout because it is jail time incriminating.

Nice job, I’ve done that before too, it bugs the crap out of them, the Stinger makes very little noise yet keeps up with these 6.2 litre beasts & the look on their faces is like WTF!
