Why is there no inventory for the GT in the NE?

Yes, you are correct, it's the monochrome color scheme that I don't care for, a little color variation is a good thing IMO.
got it ! I have a white Gt with black interior and I really like it , I've had 1 tan/oyster interior in a previous car and it always looked dirty to me . The red interior is quiet nice . Havent seen any others

Your taste is not to be argued .. all can like what they want :) I had light brown seats in a Z4 one, which was great to look at. Just saying: If you never had white before, you'll remember what I said on them being a bitch to keep clean :)

I don't buy any of the low on engines stuff. I read somewhere Kia was only going to make 20k - 25k stingers this year. 15k were earmarked for the US. They imported 1300 or so last month. If they do that every month they will have right around 15k for the year..
I think the demand for the GT 3.3 versions were underestimated so its a matter of balancing the components

Yep, don't plan on ever wearing blue jeans if you have white leather seats. Impossible to keep them from turning blue. (They do look classy as hell though)

They are gray, not white, and I respect all opinions just stating my own.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Don't worry .. this isn't a discussion on your choice, which is perfectly fine :) Just telling you my experience and something you might want to consider when ordering. My cream leather was more or less easy to maintain, proper leather care cleaners managed to get most color damages out of the leather. Don't get me started on bright plastic colors, that got hit by high heel talons though .. there I was out of luck :)

My first car was a 1972 Camaro, that should give you an idea of how many cars I've had in all color combinations. The last time I had an all-black interior was in a bright yellow '76 Vette, haven't had one since and haven't missed it at all. I've had beige, gray, even a light blue in a silver Altima, I know it's tough to keep them looking spanking clean but I'm willing to do what it takes to be happy with my purchase. I lease my cars for 3 years and settling for something I don't care for is not an option as I have to get in it every day for the next 1000 days, ya know? I love the red interior and would kill for one but I have no need for a V6 and Kia won't put it in the 2.0 so what can I do?

Sure .. we all love to feel at home in the car .. there's no reason why someone shouldn't prefer red over white or brown over black .. that's just taste.

You can always ask a saddler to put in whatever ... but that's usually not a cheap route.

Not to mention I'm also cheap, too. :)

I'm in a bit of a pickle, Kia called yesterday to find out what I'm going to do when my Cadenza lease ends 2 weeks from now. I was hoping for a good inventory of my want list (I wanted a Premium with a red interior but...), being available now but there are no light interior Premiums within 100 miles (with 153 2.0's available) and a white exterior is the only choice for a non-black interior. I doubt what I want will be around at lease end although there is a 10-day grace period before I turn her in (first week of Feb), or I can extend the lease if I want so I'm stumped. Decisions, decisions...

Lol no :P But I had GFs or previous owners leave some nasty stripes on hard plastics on foot level .. particularly bright plastic along the door, and that crap would nto go out whatever I did, no matter what cleaning solution I'd throw at it etc .. it's jsut very nasty.

Just Kidding !! :rolleyes::rolleyes::laugh::laugh:

I'm checking the Kia website every day here in the Northeast (NY), the # of Stingers is inching up every day (153 as of today), all 2.0's, funny thing is I'm seeing the same cars listed day after day, if this car is selling like hotcakes I'm not seeing it.

I'm guessing more people are wanting the GT , I think they got the forecast wrong

Yeah, I don't think anyone has indicated that the Stinger is a sales success. Wait until after the Super Bowl when more than you, me, and some guy in Nebraska know about it. Right now, it's relatively - no, not relatively - it's unknown outside of car enthusiasts.

The # of Stingers in the NE increased from 153 to 186 overnight, the first 6 GT's (all red AWD's) have also appeared. Black interiors on all 186 available cars, still some missing exterior colors, too.

Alright! Just waiting to hear about some members in the Northeast driving their twin turbo Stingers!
