Its been talked about a few times on here but I wanted to share some data to back it up. While an upgraded intercooler can produce additional power, its main benefit is to reduce or eliminate power loss from heat soak.

Today I went to the track and was able to make 16 runs in less than 2 hours. Other than the two runs I spun off the line my runs ranged from 12.3 - 12.6 and averaged 12.4. The temperature increased from 68 degrees to 75 when I left.

The above runs are all done within a span of 8 min. The first run I left TC on and had a terrible 60ft. 4 min later I ran one of my quickest/fastest times and then did it again 4 min later.

Times are pretty good! Even better considering they were back to back. Which intercooler do you have

Tig, but I don’t recommend buying it. Honestly you should see similar results from most quality ICs.

Yep I read that review about the shipping and all that. I'm waiting for BMS to release theirs, I think? I don't want to have to redo any piping or anything.

What are your other mods?

I did 3 runs in 4 hours. :) Heat soaked. Temps started at 140 and fell to 120 by the end of the quarter. Fmic may work better in your back to back scenario than my sitting for an hour in between runs?

16 runs in 2 hours!!!! Man that's awesome.

Seriously, i could have hotlapped the entire time. Most of the time I pulled up to the staging lanes and straight to the line with no one on the track in front of me. Wasn’t until the last 30 min I had to wait for one or two cars to run before I could.

I think my longest break between runs was 18 min and that was to go to the bathroom, watch some other runs and air down the tires.

State Capital Raceway. You got about a month before it becomes the slowest track in the country with the heat and humidity. The reason it was so dead is because it was about 70 degrees and we had a really nice weekend last weekend.

60 foot elevation. Could be a fast track if you can find a cool day.
